I plan to deliver in a hospital. We are students so we are on a tight budget but willing to look into offers. This will be a VBAC. My plan is spontaneous labor sometime before 41w5d (provider said this was best). And I plan to labor at home as long as possible, transferring to the hospital just before active labor. I’d like to do it unmedicated but am open to an epidural past 6cm.

Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

This will be my first birth. I don't like the idea of giving birth in a hospital. I'd like a home water birth. I'm not sure about budget or at what it starts. I want to prep my body so birth is not a horrible experience. I'd prefer someone with many years of experience, at least 5. And speaks English and Spanish. I'm 28 years old and I'd like to have a postpartum plan to include healthy eating habits and exercise.

Second baby, planning to deliver at Redlands Community Hospital since I am high risk (age 36 and history or preeclampsia). I'd love someone who is emotionally sensitive and can advocate for me during birth to have as minimal interventions as possible, and who could help with postpartum support such as lactation support and potentially meal prep or light housekeeping, but mostly focused on maternal support. I plan to give birth in a birthing center or hospital of needed. My insurance is IEHP, I am only 9 weeks pregnant and don't fully have a planned out birthing plan yet. I would love to be cared by a midwife/doula.

Hello, I am a mom and lawyer, soon to be living in poway, and due for a c-section with my second on December 18. I am a solo practitioner and am hoping to have some help with the newborn night phase to ensure I am able to function during the day, especially after the first few weeks when I will need to work at least part time to manage existing client cases. My husband is currently on a combat deployment with the Navy. He is supposed to return home before the baby arrives, but there is a chance he will not be here, so I feel a lot of pressure to schedule supports where possible. I am seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced night nanny who can kindly care for my newborn girl while also providing emotional/physical support for me, as I will be having a c section and breastfeeding. I am looking forward to hearing from and hopefully meeting folks who will have availability. I do not expect to need someone the very second we get home from the hospital, since that timeline is hard to predict, but I am hoping to have someone who can step in after Christmas and for about five weeks after (5 nights a week). at kaiser Permanente Riveride, i am planning on using my medical or my kaiser insurance i would like to have a smooth birth i do plan on getting the epidural but i have scoliosis and does not go well when the procedure is getting done, i would like to get help on information if i do not understand or if im out of it from medication

Planning an unmedicated hospital birth at Hoag Hospital Irvine for my first pregnancy. Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. Also looking for support and knowledge in breastfeeding where I can improve! Looking for a doula that accepts Tricare Select. I plan on needing doula support during the whole labor and my insurance covers a total of 6 hours of doula support before and/or after birth.
