We are a group of dynamic, experienced, and caring doulas. The doulas of Orlando Birth Support Company work collectively. For our birth doula clients, you will have two birth doulas who fit your location, personality, and style of doula support. One doula will be your primary doula who is expected to attend your labor and birth. If an unexpected circumstance arises, your secondary doula will step in to provide you with the same quality of birth support. Throughout your pregnancy, you will have opportunities to get to know both of your doulas. The team of Orlando Birth Support Company doulas gather regularly to provide community and to level up our skills. We are better able to support our clients because we have the built in support of each other. A supported, rested, happy doula is a doula who can give her best to the families she cares for!

Hi moms and dads! I am so excited to have the opportunity to serve you as you embark on the most beautiful journey in life- parenthood. My name is Carolina and I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts with Colombian roots. I have lived in Orlando since the summer of 2000 and received my BA in International Relations, before deciding that the work that sets my soul on fire is helping mamas and kiddos live mindful, meaningful lives where they trust their intuition and learn to love themselves unconditionally. My goal as a doula is to help moms realize that they have the inner strength to achieve the pregnancy, birth and postpartum periods of their dreams. With my certification as a yoga teacher, I apply much of what I learned in my training within my birth support services.

If you’re looking for someone that can help you navigate your new reality as a first time mom than this is it Carolina is priceless & worth every cent that you can spend on her as a doula/ parenting educator Her experience and intuition speaks louder than any knowledgeable doctor I’ve been too she’s helped me help my baby better than anyone could. I’ve known Carolina for 7 years & since she announced that she was offering doula services I just knew I had to come to her when I was ready to become a mom and that happened sooner than expected and it was the first thing I did when I found out and I’m so glad I did because she became my rock during my pregnancy especially being a first time mom and not knowing how to do things and what to expect she easily empowers you to believe in yourself and allow your intuition to quickly kick in from pregnancy to birth to postpartum She encourages you and helps you so much that it made me feel like doctors were useless compared to her!!! She’s calmed every doubt and as soon as you bring a problem to her she’s quick with a solution there’s soo much more but it’s something that you will have to experience yourself to truly see how great she is Seriously she’s so great you will not regret it it’s the best thing you can invest in as you join your new journey as a mom and your future to be the best mommy you can be!!

I’m Zhané (Z) a part nanny, part future pediatric neurologist, and full-time child enthusiast! I’m currently in school working toward my career in pediatric neurology, but for the past five years, my heart (and hands) have been fully in the world of childcare. I’ve worked with kiddos from brand-new newborns to big, independent teens, and I absolutely love meeting them at every stage. I’m VPK certified, a trained night doula with Let Mommy Sleep, and especially passionate about caring for autistic and neurodivergent children—helping them feel understood, empowered, and celebrated. While I’m new to the area, I’m definitely not new to this work. I come with plenty of experience, a calm and playful energy, and a “how can I help?” mindset. I’m totally comfortable with pets, happy to handle a few light household tasks, and always up for a dance party, story time, or science experiment. If you’re looking for someone kind, capable, and genuinely invested in your child’s growth and joy, I’d love the opportunity to be a part of your village

I could not possibly recommend In Joy Birth any more. Our experience with them was the first experience we had working with doulas and we had both a birth doula and postpartum doulas (2 alternating). I think this review is supposed to be more focused on postpartum so I’ll focus there, however I will share that we also had a birth doula, who helped make my wife’s home birth of our son incredibly beautiful. We first started working with In Joy postpartum when our son was 11 days old. My wife was having a really hard time with the limited sleep we were experiencing so we needed some temporary help. Chrystal showed up in our home just hours after we made the call! She helped us get our first (actually) restful night of sleep that night. Over time we also started working with another doula, Andie, who was also amazingly supportive of my wife and our son. We usually did 3 nights per week and it made all of the difference in our physical and mental health. All in, we stayed with In Joy for a little over 4 months and wouldn’t have changed a thing. We’ll absolutely hire them again when/if we have our second child. They made an incredibly positive impact on our lives and we are so thankful for them.

Most flexible, caring, communicative and fun sleep consultant. We worked with another company a few months ago. They were good but Jamie just knocks it out of the ballpark. The previous sleep company wanted me to just let my baby cry it out, the lack of flexibility to our family’s dynamic made me feel like a bad mom at times. But Jamie couldn’t be more human, warm and outright fun. This was the complete opposite from past sleep consultant experiences. She’s put together the most comprehensive sleep guide specific to my son’s needs. I had spent months reading about his sleep and still learned more from her guide than from months of tooling. Then when it was time to put her guide into practice, she was gracias and flexible whenever we messed up. Provided tips & tricks to get back and did it with love (no shaming). And even showed us the light at the end of the tunnel whenever we thought Dani (our son) was not cooperating/ready for it but it turned out it was just us doing it wrong. She helped us fix things right away and my baby was WAY HAPPIER instantly. Plus, she’s prob the most affordable sleep consultant you’ll ever find. Trust me. Just book her and save yourself days, week or in my case months of sleep deprivation.

Hi mommas! My name is Caisee Rogers and I am a certified pediatric sleep consultant. My job is to give you one on one support with baby sleep. As parents, we are flooded with information on what the "right" thing to do is, which can leave us overwhelmed and confused. Our sleep learning methods are grounded in science and tailored to fit your and your baby's needs! There is no "one size fits all" approach. I foster attachment, while providing you with the tools, so that everyone in the house can get better sleep!

Hola, padres! I’m Ariana, but you can call me Ari. If I’m not enjoying a Sunday siesta with my family, you’ll likely find me with Street Tacos and a Mexican Lager in hand. I founded Step by Step Baby Consulting under the belief that a restful night’s sleep and lactation support is needed and deserved by ALL families. When I found out I was pregnant with my 1st child, I was an overly-confident parent-to-be. I’d had 17 years of auntie duties, had fostered my 3-year-old niece, and was going to have my mom by my side. When I was 7 months pregnant, my mother suddenly passed away & I was hit with an immense depression. I survived by concentrating on the arrival of my son. After my son was born, I realized he was a challenging little sleeper. I compulsively read & researched all things baby sleep, but nothing helped. I endured 8 months of sleepless nights & finally hit rock bottom. It was 2 am, my son was on his 3rd wake up of the night, I went into his room, held him, & cried along his side. The next day, my Doctor recommended I hire a Pediatric Sleep Consultant to help with my PPD & PPA. I quickly hired one, and by day 3, my son was actually napping/sleeping through the night & I was finally able to bond with him! I know what it’s like to be in the parenting trenches, exasperated by sleep deprivation. When we partner together, I want you to feel comfortable enough to let your guard down and chat honestly about what’s been going on. Because here, you’ll never be judged.

What ever you are hoping for your birth I want to help achieve it. My motto is your baby, your body my support. In my free time I enjoy event organizing and just being with my family.

My husband and I decided to hire a doula a little bit reluctantly, not really knowing what we needed or how beneficial it would be. When I met Vonda, I immediately got this sense that she was caring and compassionate but yet also very competent and confident in her work as a Doula. This gave me so much comfort, and regardless of whether our goal was to deliver at home, a birth center, or hospital, she was willing to support us and our choices and not try to impose opinions on us unless we asked for them (which was huge since opinions can run very strong and extreme on opposite spectrums in the birth world). What I loved most about the idea of hiring her, beyond being able to trust her and know she was for us, was that she would be the consistency in my care from prenatal to delivery to postpartum. This birth was going to be with my second child but I was hoping to have a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) birth, so everything about labor and birth would be a new experience for me. She met with us twice during my 3rd trimester. Those meetings were incredibly informative and brought us so much peace leading up to what was foreign territory to us. She talked with us about our birth plan and let us know what our options were, taught my husband and I physical comfort techniques that could be helpful during labor, and also educated us on the birth process and what would happen to my body and with the baby during the process. Having the ability to contact her anytime after we hired her to get her input and feedback was so helpful. My husband wanted to be as involved and helpful to me as he could but he also didn't know what to expect and I didn't know what I would need, He really appreciated everything Vonda taught us beforehand, but then also having her with us during the birth to help him help me and to be our voice at the hospital since she knew our wishes and could speak for us while my mind was focused on having a baby and my husband was focused on me. Aspects of everything she prepared us for came into play when labor started, and I can't imagine going through labor and birth without having been as prepared as I felt, even when I still didn't know what to expect. Hiring Vonda as our Doula was worth every penny! I would highly recommend her to any mama AND her support person. She was there for me AND my husband, and if we did it again, we'd definitely have Vonda with us!
