This site helped me match my cousin with a doula previously! 1) She will be birthing at Denver Health in Denver, CO. 2) She is hoping to find someone that accepts insurance. 3) No fully set birth plan, we are working on that while looking and can expand more once in contact.

I am currently planning to give birth at cdh. I’m not sure what an appropriate budget for a doula is so I guess I’m interested in rates. I’d hope to not go over a thousand dollars but like I said I don’t know what is appropriate. I’d like to give birth with the least amount of interventions possible. Looking to give birth at Prentice Women's Hospital in the city. I'd like to go a mostly natural birthing route, but would like the hospital environment for the "just in case" piece of birth. I am a first time mom and my husband and I want someone who we can get to know well, and who will spend time with us answering all of our questions. We have vaccine questions, we want to do delayed cord clamping, we would like a vaginal birth (unless dangerous for me or baby), we would like skin to skin immediately, we would like to try to not be induced if that's possible. I'm not needing a fully unmedicated birth but want to go as long as possible without any epidural or any intervention of that sort.
