I want to be able to move and would like to avoid birthing on my back if possible. I would also prefer someone who can directly communicate my needs or advocate for what I have on my birth plan if they are not being respected. My doula should also be able to educate and help both me and my husband during our preparation for and during delivery. Top end of our budget is $1500.
