Looking to get an idea of what a birthing / postpartum doula would provide, as well as a night nanny. I’m giving birth at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.
(1) Night nanny: Looking for 10-hour overnight care 7 nights a week for 16 weeks; happy to divide this among multiple care providers and to hire individuals for just part of the week. Must be experienced with overnight care, able to provide references, and able to provide proof of up-to-date TDAP and flu vaccines. (2) Birth doula: Looking for a birth doula for my birth at Crouse Hospital. Must be able to provide references and proof of up-to-date TDAP and flu vaccines.
Plan to give birth at hospital Not sure budget- Want to give birth naturally- vaginally- no epidural, it is our first child - want the father as involved as possible but would love help preparing before birth and help with educating on options and helping with positions
I will be giving birth at Crouse Hospital, my doula is covered by my insurance which is excellus blue cross blue shield. I want a natural birth
