I'm looking for a birth doula who can operate from a hospital. Ideally if they are registered with Los Robles hospital that would be amazing as I could cover it with insurance. Otherwise I will have to pay out of pocket and while I want support, birth is expensive. I want someone to be three throughout the birth and coach me through it as this is my first baby and I'm trying to do a natural birth in the hospital. I have an amazing midwife who operates out of Los Robles so we'll be doing that there. My ideal midwife would be spiritual - have sound bowls or suggestions for good music, sounds, breathing techniques, positions and natural herbs, oils and yoni steams to help bring a baby into this world in the most natural way possible given the circumstances.

I plan to give birth at AV Hospital. This is my first pregnancy and I would just like some help creating my birth plan, getting more educated, and having more of a support system than just my doctors.

I plan to give birth at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank. My due date is July 12. I am looking for an experienced female doula to support me during labor and especially postpartum. I would appreciate help with newborn care, including feeding, bathing, soothing, sleep support, and guidance during the first weeks after birth. I speak English, Armenian, and Russian, and I would prefer a doula who speaks Armenian or Russian, though English is also fine. Experience with first-time mothers is a big plus. I have Health Net through Medi-Cal, so I am looking for a doula whose services are fully covered by my insurance, with no out-of-pocket costs if possible.

I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight.
