I plan to give birth at a hospital in Nashville. Since our insurance does not cover a doula our estimated budget is $1000. I am not sure exactly what my birth plan will be. With a medical condition I think I do plan to get the epidural at some point. I do want delayed cord clamping, no eyedrops, and minimal interventions. I want my provider to be certified and have experience helping first time moms that do not deal with pain well. I am 25 and possible have POTS or Vasovagal syncopy. I would love someone who also is a lactation consultant

I need someone to help me when I get close to giving birth, at the the hospital and for a short time after.

This is my third pregnancy. My first two were delivered via c-sections with Dr. Ware at memorial hospital. I planned a natural birth with my first but developed preeclampsia towards the end which called for a C-section after the pitocin disturbed her heart rate. The second pregnancy I didn’t want a c-section but towards the end the doctor suggested that it would be the best route due to the history of my first pregnancy. With this pregnancy she announced that c-section would be the plan again but I would really like to see if I’m able to do a natural birth. I’m not high risk for anything. And my blood pressure is okay.

I plan to deliver at a hospital. I need a doula for support through the labor & delivery process as well as advocacy. I plan to have a medicated birth (epidural), if possible & a vaginal delivery. This is my 3rd pregnancy (1st one ended in stillbirth) & I am currently being monitored for a large baby & advanced maternal age. We are wanting to delay cord cutting, bath, and also after the baby is born, my husband and I want one hour alone with just the 3 of us. Anywhere my child goes, my husband goes. If the test can not be ran inside the room, he will need to go with them * I would like constant education on what my body is doing, how to breastfeed, and great breathing techniques
