I plan to give birth in a hospital, but I don't feel comfortable with the doctor i'going to, she wants to schedule me for a c section but I really want to try natural birth this time, this will be my second child. My first one was on 05/16/2020, and my preferred language is Spanish.

I plan to give birth in Medicine Hat hospital. This with be my third time giving birth and after having complications with my first two births, I’m hoping to have someone there to advocate and speak up for me. I’m hoping to have minimal intervention from doctors/nurses - I believe being induced and frequent/unnecessary intervention (with my second which ended in emergency c-section) caused the complications. Being considered high risk now I feel like hospital staff will ignore my wants as they’ll feel they are doing what’s best. I am not totally sure about budget because I’m not sure what doulas usually cost!

I am looking for a midwife or souls that can assist me through childbirth and postpartum care. Lactation consulting would also be beneficial. 1. Home or Hospital 2. Hopefully covered by Medicaid 3. Would like a low maintenance birth, preferably a water birth.

This will be my 2nd birth. My 1st one was a high risk twin pregnancy that had me impatient at the Fetal Care at Children’s Hospital in Aurora. I found out at 20 weeks we were expecting twins and my plans for a natural birth went out the window. I delivered the twins at 29 w and 6 days via c-section. This go round I’m seeking a VBAC option to redeem my original plans. I live in rural eastern Colorado and so I’m in the process of looking for a hospital close enough to us that has the capabilities to fulfill my wishes. I’m looking into the Greeley/ Ft. Collins area. Because of the amazing intimate care I had at the Fetal Care I desire to have a doula to provide the same feels and experience I had there. My budget is $1,000-$1,800.
