Hi! I’m looking for a doula for birth support and post partum too. I’d love someone who speaks Portuguese. I have diabetes type 1 and I’m considered high risk pregnancy. I’m looking for doulas who accept MediCal or Contra Costa Health Plan. Please, contact me if you think you’re a good doula for my case. (925) 490-8523.
Lactation consultant for postpartum mom period just started, baby 6.5 weeks old
1. Give birth at a hospital with a midwife or an OB, depending on the on-call schedule 2. Hoping to use insurance for a lactation consultant. 3. I want to book an appointment in advance with a lactation consultant given how hard I heard latching can be. I also want to prepare to pump and breast-feed at the same time so that I get support from my partner to give the bottle and also transitioning into work more easily while still maintaining the benefits of breast-feeding.
I plan to give birth in the hospital. At Northbay in Fairfield CA, don’t have a birth plan yet
I am a first time mom planning to give birth at Kaiser Walnut Creek. I have Kaiser HMO insurance that I plan to use to cover the cost of doula services. My birth goal is to have a healthy baby with limited medical intervention, if possible.
Having twins. Planning hospital delivery, but want to get help with birth options and postpartum support
Hi, This is my first pregnancy and I am currently 10 weeks along. I am looking for guidance and support from a doula who can help both my husband and me navigate this journey. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. My goal is to have a natural birth with an epidural. At the same time, I am open to any medical recommendations necessary to ensure the health and safety of both myself and the baby. I would also love to build an ongoing relationship with a doula who can continue to support me during the postpartum period, including education around lactation and breastfeeding. We are covered by Carrot Insurance and Kaiser, so it would be wonderful if you accept either of these.
I plan to give birth in Walnut Creek, CA at Kaiser. I'm hoping my Kaiser insurance plan can cover financially.

I have been exclusively pumping but now I want to breastfeed my 3 months old daughter. I have been trying for 10 days but I’m facing lots of difficulties. I need help with the transition.
I would like help with pumping. I am exclusively pumping and feeding breastmilk to baby, however I’m realizing that I’m not fully prepared. I’ve only recently realized that my flange size was incorrect and was using the wrong flange for about a week before finally making a switch. We are starting to pump more and store more milk and I have questions on how to safely store my breast milk and as well as why one side seems to be pumping more than the other and if that has to do with me pumping incorrectly or just my supply…
