NICU baby so it has been difficult to latch and I can’t figure out what flange size is correct due to getting different direction and larger size is yielding more milk which shouldn’t be the case. I have had a virtual LC but I would like someone to come to my house and I have CIGNA insurance.
I just need someone who I feel can educate me on what I don’t know and someone who is interested in helping me advocate for myself. I keep feeling like the medical industry isn’t interested in helping me and I just want someone who cares about helping and wants to be there
Scheduled to have the baby at the Newport Beach Hoag. Trying to find out how much a doula costs with my insurance for some extra support because id like to go unmedicated if I can. My insurance is blue shield CA and the Gold 80Trio hmo plan
15 month old, no difficulties with latch since he was about 1 month old. Recently areola is cracking and fissures are starting. I have put lanolin but it is not improving. Not sure if his latch is worsening the cuts. It hurts a lot to continue nursing (only on left side).

I would like an at home water birth. Being all natural no shots or vaccines or me or baby. Delay clamping of the placenta. Will not be laying down in active labor.
My baby has a shallow latch and gets distracted during feeds. Could this be causing my milk supply to decrease?
Hi! Looking for in person lactation help covered by insurance (Anthem Blue Cross). My 3 month old baby has developed a preference for bottles and I’m having a lot of trouble getting her to nurse and wean off bottle feeding. Needing help with her latch and tips overall.

Already have my birth plan figured out and mainly looking for support and advocacy during labor for me and my partner and to learn any helpful information for first time motherhood. Also looking for support and knowledge in breastfeeding where I can improve! Looking for a doula that accepts Tricare Select. I plan on needing doula support during the whole labor and my insurance covers a total of 6 hours of doula support before and/or after birth.
