Hi! I am pregnant with my first baby. Will be delivering at Kaiser Walnut Creek. I am looking for a doula for some education/guidance and support during the birthing process. I saw your name on Kaiser's lists of doulas. Let me know if you are available or have any additional questions for me.

First baby, giving birth at UCSF Mission Bay in San Francisco. Looking for a birth doula to support my partner and I. Hoping to have an unmediated birth but very open to that changing depending on the circumstances. I live in the South West of SF. My husband needs to double check his work’s doula benefit so I’m not sure on our budget, happy to pay some out of pocket, but we’d like to pre-pay for our doula service, ideally in the next couple of weeks.

We are still determining the exact level of support we are looking for. We plan to give birth in a hospital in San Francisco. Our primary search is for post-birth overnight support, which would include support for the mom and care for the baby, including feeding, settling, changing, and any associated cleaning. It is important to us to get detailed updates on how the baby did overnight. We want to make sure that the person providing the support fits well into our home. We would expect we need this support 4-5 nights per week for 10-16 weeks, and would seek to get support on sleep conditioning over that period of time. We are also evaluating if a birth doula is something that we want but have not yet decided on that.

I want the birth doula to support me with breathing techniques dor labor pain. Emotional, mental and physical support during labor. Advocate for our birth plan. We eant the doula's advices be scientifically backed.

First baby, planning a hospital birth at Kaiser SF. Hoping for an unmedicated birth. I am looking for an experienced Doula who can support me physically, emotionally and spiritually. Someone who is experienced in birth support, and who feels capable of holding the most sacred, steady energy with me to birth in a hospital, which is not my first choice but is supported by my doctor and midwives I asked because I have ITP (low platelets) and they both feel birthing in hospital is safest. I'm a sensitive and strong person, I want the least amount of intervention possible, and I thrive with caring, steady support. I am hoping to work through Kaiser insurance for at least partial coverage.

I'm delivering at Marin General and my main priority is postpartum support but as a former athlete, I know I'd benefit from coaching during labor too. I'm planning on a vaginal delivery. We are first-time parents expecting a baby girl via a planned C-section at Stanford on September 16. We live in San Bruno and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to begin after we return from the hospital. Our priority is overnight support for approximately 8–12 hours per night, ideally 5–7 nights per week for the first 2–4 weeks, with flexibility to extend. We need help with feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, swaddling, bottle and pump-part cleaning, and tracking the baby’s feeding and sleep. We would especially value someone trained in lactation support who can assist with breastfeeding, latch, positioning, pumping, and recognizing when an IBCLC should be consulted. Experience supporting C-section recovery is also important. The provider must communicate comfortably in English and have strong newborn experience. Postpartum doula or newborn-care training, infant CPR/First Aid, excellent references, and knowledge of current safe-sleep practices are strongly preferred. We want responsive newborn care and healthy sleep foundations—not “cry it out” or formal sleep training during the newborn stage.

Hospital - Mills Peninsula Burlingame (but stay home as long as possible because I hear going to hospital too early results in more complications) Provide your estimated budget $2000-$2500 Describe your birth plan I don't have a fully fleshed out one yet and need some help crafting it if the birth doula can help. I want vaginal birth as much as possible unless there are absolute necessary conditions/complications that require a C-section. I don't want induction unless it's absolutely necessary. I want an epidural and also open to try other pain relieving methods but that doesn't mean I don't want epidural.
