Hello! My name is Meredith Walker and I am I trained Birth Doula through DONA International located in the Marion, Indiana area. Currently, I serve a 70 mile radius from Marion which touches Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and many cities in between. Helping women and their partner through pregnancy, labor, and post-partum is a passion of mine and I am grateful the Lord has opened doors to call this my career! I do this full time so you will you have the benefit of me being fully present without the distraction of another job. Physical support, emotional care, mental strength, & Christian spiritual encouragement are the ways I will best serve and support you through this season. I officially began my birth work journey in 2018 and have gone on to work as a doula, lactation counselor, and birth assistant. I feel the idea of supporting women in their birth journey actually took root with my firstborn in 1994. I loved and cherished the guidance I received from other women and provide the care that meant so much to me. I have 4 grown children 2 of which were hospital births and 2 home births. I feel honored to be able to share my experience with women and families. I approach birth holistically. Hi, I am a newly trained birth Doula serving the Michiana area from Kalamazoo to St. Joe to South Bend. I am currently still persuing my certification, but am very eager to jump in whole hearted to the birth world. I have two babies of my own, with two very different birth stories and I know firsthand there will always be a need and place for doula support during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period. I am naturally minded and love physiologic birth but also recognize that each woman is unique and a successful birth is by their own definition. Hi, I'm Hannah. I've been in birth work for 20 years, though I've been passionate about birth for as long as I can remember. As a registered nurse (with labor and delivery experience) certified doula, childbirth educator, and life coach, I focus on helping you feel empowered and supported throughout the process of your pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. I'm a mom of six boys, myself and have experienced both hospital and home birth personally. I know first hand how birth can imprint and shape the mind and memory and make every effort to assure my mamas experience birth as beautiful! Hi, my name is Chante Shine. I am a wife, mother and cancer survivor. It was after my own two wildly different but equally amazing birth experiences I realized that I had a passion for birth. For years afterward, I helped to guide my friends through their birth journeys but after my life changing struggles in 2022 I decided, life is short and there is not a minute to waste! So, in 2023 I decided to make it official and get my Birth Doula Certification. I also went ahead and added Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator Certifications to my agenda! I am currently working my way through these classes, and I could not be more excited and thrilled to start working with expecting parents such as yourselves!
