I am giving birth at Riley maternity tower with the IU health midwifery team. I am planning for an unmedicated birth and have anthem medicaid. I am looking for a doula that is covered completely through Medicaid. Preferably a doula with Christian values who has ample experience in a hospital setting and focuses on comfort measures, positions, and advocating for her patient.

Doula and midwife. I need help with a birth plan and I have insurance via my employer and I’m applying for Medicaid as well. I’m interested in water birth.

We are looking for a certified postpartum doula or newborn care provider to help care for our baby, born on May 7, 2026, and to support the mother during the daytime. The ideal provider should have postpartum doula certification, newborn care experience, infant CPR and first-aid certification, and at least three years of experience caring for infants. We would prefer someone who has completed a background check and can provide professional references. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to speak Hindi or Marathi would be helpful but is not required. Our baby is approximately three months old and needs assistance with bottle-feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, age-appropriate play, tummy time, and establishing a consistent daytime nap routine. Experience working with babies who experience spit-up or reflux would be beneficial. The provider would also help the mother during the day so she can rest, recover, eat meals, shower, and complete other necessary activities. Additional duties may include washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, preparing formula or stored breast milk, doing the baby’s laundry, organizing the nursery, changing crib sheets, and preparing simple meals or snacks for the mother. We are not looking for general housecleaning beyond light tasks directly related to the baby and postpartum care. We would prefer a provider who can provide daytime support for approximately 4–8 hours per day, with the schedule and number of days to be discussed. Because we are hoping to receive insurance reimbursement, the provider must be willing and able to provide detailed invoices, receipts, certification information, an NPI number if available, and any documentation or superbills required by our insurance company. Our estimated budget is $15–$22 per hour, depending on the provider’s qualifications, experience, schedule, and whether the services are eligible for insurance reimbursement.

I’m looking for a kind, patient, and supportive doula who will help me feel calm and confident throughout labor and delivery. This is an important experience for me, and I’d like someone who will advocate for my wishes, provide emotional encouragement, and offer comfort measures such as breathing techniques, massage, position changes, and relaxation support. I would like a doula who respects my birth preferences, communicates well with my medical team, and also supports my partner or family members during labor. I want someone who creates a positive, peaceful environment and helps me feel informed and empowered throughout the entire process. Postpartum support and breastfeeding guidance would also be appreciated if available. * I’m hoping for an unmedicated birth, or I’d like support even if I choose an epidural or need a C-section.

Hospital, unsure of budget and birth plan just looking into options

I plan to have a water birth at IU health midwifery center. My budget is less than 1,000 My birth plan is to have a natural delivery in water, using gas or other means for pain management. I want to labor in water, use counter pressure, position changing etc.

I’m looking for birth doula to help with childbirth preparation and the birth, help with breastfeeding potentially. I plan to give birth at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso. Estimated budget is under $2000. Goal birth plan: No induction or scheduled c-section unless 100% medically necessary, No epidural (open to nitrous for pain if available), no IV pain meds, no pitocin unless 100% medically necessary, delayed cord clamping, golden hour skin/skin with mom and dad, no bath for baby right away.

Hospital birth Unknown budget VBAC is the goal!

Hospital. I have Indiana Medicaid and hoping all services covered by insurance. Preferably no Pitocin induction unless medically indicated, preferably no C-section unless medically needed, would like an epidural if possible, delayed cord clamping (until it stops pulsing), immediate skin to skin w/ or with dad if mom can’t, certification preferred but not necessary, would love help with household tasks and managing baby postpartum.

I currently see Dr. Walker at the Newburgh women’s hospital as my OB and I’m happy with his care, I would just also like to see about teaming up with a doula. This is my first pregnancy so I’m not sure how exactly I want my birth to go, but I know I’d like for it to lean for natural. For example, I want the epidural to be an option for me, but as of right now (20 weeks pregnant) I think I’d like to avoid it if I can, so I want to learn ways to manage labor naturally. I have TRICARE select.

My needs are to stay as calm as possible and to relieve as much pain as possible. I don’t mind a home or hospital birth. I’m very open to those 2. I’m wanting someone that takes Medicaid. I’m wanting someone that is black and speaks English.

I really wanted to be educated about birth practices and be guided in the natural but safe process of having a baby in hospital but someone I can trust to help me advocate for certain practices not to be rushed. I plan on giving birth at crown point Franciscan via VBAC I HAVE Indiana MEDICAID so whatever they would cover I want some medical intervention but I want help practicing different techniques that I can use to help me through the birth process without as much medical intervention. I really don’t want to be rushed through this process and miss vital things that could give amazing benefits for my baby or cause more harm or trauma to me. I would like someone who has several years experience with guiding moms though birth in a hospital setting vs just home birth with history of c section

I plan to give birth at IU North. I have 6 hours of prenatal/postpartum care covered, as well as an untimed session for birth covered. I am looking to deliver vaginally if possible, am open to an epidural and meds if needed. I am looking to breastfeed. I am covered by Tricare East.
