I want to give birth at a hospital, it is my first pregnancy so I am very anxious with everything and a lot of people say midwives are good

I plan to give birth at Franciscan in Indianapolis. I’m a first time mom and a little fearful and lacking knowledge on the birthing experience. I’m planning to take all the classes the hospital offers but also like the idea of an advocate that will make sure things go smoothly.

looking for postpartum care

I am a 19 year old first time expecting mother, I have very bad chronic anxiety and I don’t think I can do birth without someone who’s specially trained in soothing and comforting mothers during birth. I would really like someone who would talk to me occasionally before birth and get to know them so we can have somewhat of a bond before actual birth.

Hospital, unsure of budget and birth plan just looking into options

Planning a hospital birth in Columbus, IN. Not sure on my budget

This is my fourth baby and I have potential placenta accreta. So at the very least I’m looking at a cesarean between 37-38 weeks but I might need a hysterectomy. For a cesarean only my husband will only be able to take off 2 weeks. However if I need the hysterectomy, I’m sure he’ll be able to take more time. So a lot is up in the air! And we have a 6 year old, 4 year old and 1 year old. What I really need help with is for a couple of weeks after my husband goes back to work; drop off and pick up for my oldest, light tidying/laundry/errands and perhaps some childcare for my middle two at home.

First baby in Greenfield. Looking for a postpartum doula. Unsure of tasks, helping around the house and has newborn feeding experience. I am unsure on cost. I have anxiety and am praying for a good birth experience and smooth postpartum. 2 to 3 days a week, during day time. Help with upkeep of home, laundry, dishes.
