I plan to have my baby at a hospital. I am not really educated on how much a doula is so I don’t have a price preference at the moment. I would love to have a unmedicated birth meaning no pain management meds or Pitocin if it can be avoided.

I would like a doula that will be my advocate during the birthing process and help me with a natural unmedicated birth by positions, exercises, and breathing techniques. I am still currently working on my birth plan so I could use help on that aspect as well, but I know I want to have an unmedicated natural birth. I am open to my budget but would like to keep it under $3,000. If possible I would like to use my insurance, if they accept doulas.

Hello, I plan to give birth university hospital Geauga medical center in Chardon, Ohio. This will be my second birth and my goal this time around is for a much more natural & holistic birth experience. I hope to have a spontaneous, low intervention, physiological birth and am looking for a doula to stand by me & my husband to advocate alongside us during delivery. I prefer dim lighting and calming frequency or chakra-balancing sounds to promote relaxation. I would appreciate gentle coaching during pushing while allowing my body to lead naturally, with a preference for squatting or hands-and-knees positions. After birth, I desire immediate skin-to-skin contact, delayed cord clamping, partner cord cutting, and initiation of breastfeeding. I would like to discuss and give informed consent regarding Vitamin K, eye ointment, and the Hepatitis B vaccine prior to administration when possible. If induction or emergency intervention becomes necessary, I request clear explanations, shared decision-making, and for my partner to remain with our baby at all times. My intention is to feel safe, respected, informed, and empowered throughout this experience. My body is wise, my baby is safe, and I birth with calm strength and trust

I plan to give birth at cape fear valley hospital. I budget would be $1500 if possible. I was induced before so i want this birth as natural as possible, so using a-lot of natural comfort measures but epidural offered if the pain becomes too much. I want continuous emotional support, encouragement and guidance. No induction, routine ruptures, continuous iv fluids and unnecessary vaginal exams unless medically necessary. I would like immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, and my partner and doula being present the entire time. Lastly, breastfeeding support, no formula for baby, rooming in with baby, and just all around comfort and pain management through non medical technics are a priority until otherwise.

Hello, I am actually a doula (a newbie) working in Southeast Ohio. I was recently contacted by a couple in Athens Ohio who are looking for a doula, but they are both deaf. I do not know ASL, so I am searching for other doulas in Ohio who may have the skills to communicate with them and support them more effectively and who are willing to travel to Athens. Hello, I am looking for a labor support Doula for the birth of my first child in Late June/early July. I have not yet decided whether I will have a home birth, or of give birth at Naval Medical Center. I am planning to have a natural, unmediated birth and know I will need physical and emotional support through it.

I would do it in the hospital but I don’t want it to feel like I’m in the hospital, I don’t want the staff bombarding me and intervening every 5 seconds. I want to do it naturally, in better positions than what the hospital wants me to do… I’m not positive about all of the rest but I just want someone that’s going to vouch for me while I’m vulnerable and I fear my husband is too nice and they will walk all over him… I’m not even sure about an estimated budget but I do know I would need someone who takes tricare to help with the cost!

I would like to do a vaginal birth, preferably natural but if the pain gets to be too much I’ll probably cave and get an epidural. As long as there’s no complications, I would like to wait to cut the cord until it turns white.
