Sophia is looking for Childbirth Educator, Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: High Point, NC 27265, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 02, 2026
I need someone that will be able to help with any issues or concerns that I might have throughout my pregnancy. I’ve had a rough first trimester, so I definitely want more support from now on. I had a miscarriage a few months ago, so I tend to feel anxious about any symptoms that I don’t feel or think are normal. I will have a lot of questions and concerns that I need answers to in a timely manner, so someone that I can easily contact is essential. Ideally we need someone that will be able to help through pregnancy and for at least the first month of postpartum. We plan on giving birth at a hospital, but want it to be a natural birth if possible, so having someone that can advocate for my needs during both pregnancy and labor is also important. |

Allison is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: Norwich, NY 13815, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 17, 2026
Hi LaurieAnn, I am the adoptive mother of a baby due mid to late March. I’ve been searching for postpartum support without much luck. We live in Norwich (13815). I’m an older mom, 41, living with my husband and a few dogs. I had miscarriages but no deliveries due to premature ovarian failure. I am attempting to induce lactation and Upstate Breastfeeding medicine will see me, but not until February. I guess I just thought I should reach out to a real person instead of relying solely on the internet! If you have any resources to point me towards, I would appreciate it. |

Stephanie is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: Canton, OH 44704, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 28, 2026
I plan to give birth at Mercy Hospital in Canton. First time mom with anxiety, adhd and likely autism while my partner is supportive and will be in the room he is kind of squeamish and not historically has not been the best in medical situations. He is a local truck driver but can be hours away during the day and the thought of going into labor/ at the hospital with out a support person terrifies me. He is also being laid off from his company in April (they are closing his branch) which means he won't qualify for FMLA and is at the mercy of whatever company he ends up being hired by in terms of leave for when baby comes and after. My ideal budget is no more than 1000 although I have seen prices a bit above that. As of right now my birth plan is minimal intervention and without pain meds. I really don't want to have an epidural specifically if it can be avoided...obviously baby/the birth experience can change things though. |

Location: Gowanda, NY 14070, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: January 11, 2026
Hospitals NEVER listen to concerns or serious problems with me. I need help advocating for myself and understanding everything in a way that isn’t going off of a doctor’s lunch plans. A large example is my experience with severe birth trauma. My first daughter was an emergency C-section due to a car accident I was in. My 2nd daughter was meconium in utero and the doctor didn’t take my clotting disorder seriously to the point I nearly died. I was also put on a spinal block that took 45 minutes to work and it wore off completely before they even started the procedure but failed to document the horrific outcome. My 3rd daughter was planned as a VBAC and I was promised I’d get it, but the doctor claimed that being at 4cm for 1 hour “isn’t considered progressing” despite me still actively progressing and no distress or complications of any kind but she told me that I either get the C-section she pushed or she’d get my children taken from me if I didn’t comply. The spinal block didn’t work whatsoever and I was screaming in unimaginable pain but was told to “get over it” and to “stop being dramatic”. I assumed they gave me something to knock me out but they told me later on that they didn’t. I had remained unconscious for several hours because my body shut down from unnatural pain to that degree. I wasn’t even able to hear my daughter’s first cries. These concerns were brought to her attention prior and I told her she needed to put me under general anesthesia to do the operation but she blatantly refused. I later learned she went against EVERYTHING in my birth plan including my backup in case of a C-section because she “needed more experience”. Now I’ve gone through this pregnancy with extreme complications and have told them repeatedly about needing to be put under with general anesthesia but they aren’t working with me at all. I’m terrified of going through this again and no one seems to listen. They go off the notes of people who lied so they didn’t lose their jobs and it could VERY easily kill me this time due to my medical issues happening currently. I’m more terrified of them not listening and acting appropriately to the situation than I am at the thought of allowing myself to push during contractions and risk my uterus rupturing just to avoid that surgery going wrong AGAIN. I’m planning to give birth at Sister’s Charity Hospital in Buffalo. I need someone who’s covered by my insurance. I can give my birth plan when I match with someone. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! |

A doula that can help me towards my goal of a natural unmediated birth with my four child while being high risk. Due to high risk possibilities of being induced between 36/38 weeks unless needed to be done sooner. Someone who is easy to get along with and I am comfortable with. And can also help me stand up for what I want while still being safe. |

Molly is looking for Midwife, Birth Doula
|
Location: Sandy Hook, CT 06482, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: May 23, 2026
I am looking to have a hospital birth, but with as little intervention as possible. I want to be unmedicated, ability to labor and deliver on my side or all fours, I want to delay the cord cutting, no fundal massage, no cervical checks,, and I want to be able to retain my placenta. I believe a birth via OB would stop me from this. |
