MoBap FTM Curious about birthing process Starting to design a birth plan
1. We are giving birth at mercy hospital 2. Budget - $2000 3. This is my third birth. I will most likely have a medicated birth. I will most likely need to be induced early. My baby has diagnosed FGR.
1. Mercy Hospital - Creve Coeur 2. TBD 3. Medicated birth
I need someone to support me for this last leg of pregnancy. I need someone who can be at the delivery with me if I give birth sometime between 12/19 and 12/26. I will be giving birth at Missouri Baptist hospital. My birth plan is to deliver baby as safely and smoothly as possible for me and baby while limiting my anxiety to a minimum amount. I have treated panic disorder that I’ve had since I was 7 years old and have a lot of anxiety surrounding the birthing process. My primary supports besides my husband is my Mom (an internal medicine doctor) and my sister (a pediatric NP who is also trained as a lactation consultant and is passionate about the 4th trimester). I myself am also an internal medicine doctor. I plan to have both my mom and my sister at bedside when I deliver. The only problem is they are both going out of town the aforementioned week, which is why I would like a doula as a back up. Additionally, for post partum stuff, I was planning on my sister being my main physical and mental support person (in addition to my husband), but she unfortunately will have to leave town for a week with in 2-3 weeks of me delivering (middle of February. It would be helpful to have a post partum doula at that time too.
Support needed for care of 3 week old baby. Experience with newborn care required. Pay is $22 per hour
I just want to make sure I know I’m doing what I need to do for my son I’m a new mom ! I would like to have a routine for night since I myself am a night owl ! I like my son to learn Spanish as well as me! Cooking and clothes would be helpful with light cleaning !
Looking for postpartum night doulas to watch baby at night to let the parents sleep, the baby needs to be fed every 3 hours so you’ll be responsible for 11 pm, 2 am and 5 am feeds and changing diapers and making sure he goes back to sleep and taking care when he wakes up. Newborn care, baby is 2 months old, diaper changes, washing bottles.
1. I plan to give birth at a hospital 2. I have Medicaid that covers doula services
Looking for help and education for an unmedicated birth. Would like to be in a birthing center.
I’m having a natural home birth. The most important part of this experience for me during postpartum is my mental and spiritual health. Being able to get sleep and still eat healthy. So I might need help with the dishes occasionally and meal planning. I am not picky about age or certification I just want someone I can trust in someone who is passionate about their job. Someone I can trust with my baby in my household. This is my first time ever having a Doula so budget. I’m unsure on and I’m also flexible with.
1. Planning to give birth at Mercy Birthing Center on Ballas Rd. 2. My budget is flexible but I am thinking 1.5-2k 3. My plan is to have a natural birth at the Birthing Center. I am planning to breast feed my baby as well.
Looking for a birth doula for additional support through unmedicated childbirth and possibly postpartum support and education. I’m giving birth at the Mercy Midwifery Birthing Center. I’m not sure about cost for Doula but my max would be $500 altogether. Right now I don’t have much of a birth plan aside from using laughing gas as pain management as needed. I don’t know what else I need to include or consider.

Wanting to give birth at home high risk no hospital picked out
I want to do a home birth No budget in mind No birth plan in mind just yet
Hi, I’m going to be a first time mom! As I am super excited and starting to plan my near future, I am also trying to navigate how I want my birthing experience to go. I know that I would like to have a hospital birth, which I believe I have found the perfect hospital for me. As of right now I am still researching this and that. Meaning, there are so many different birthing experiences. I’m sure everyone has their dream ideal labor and delivery story to which some come true and some do not. I am fully aware anything can happen but before we go there, I do have an “ideal” way I’d like to see my labor going. I would very much prefer an unmedicated birth. My main goal is no epidural. I do have a few different reasons as to why I don’t want it, but that is something we can always get into later if you’d like! I should also mention again, this is my goal! If at any point I get to a point during labor where I absolutely want it or feel that I need it, if able to, I will change my mind. I also would love to stay away from Pitocin as long as possible as long as there are no complications etc. of course if the labor is getting dangerous for me or baby, I understand. I am also hoping as my doula (when we find each other!) you will help me understand more about these. As long as things go as planned, I plan on my mother and boyfriend being present during my labor and birth. I also hope I can add another amazing support person to the list! Someone that will 110% advocate for me if and when needed, and Someone that will keep me updated and educated! I hope to speak soon, thank you!
