I plan to give birth at a Hospital. Estimated Budget: $2,000 Birth plan: To be discussed I am currently pregnant with sextuplets and am seeking a doula for what will be a high-risk pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period. Due to the rarity of this pregnancy, I am well known within my local area and surrounding communities. As a result, discretion is essential. I expect a high level of privacy, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.

I am a trans man. I am seeking a birth doula who is invested in supporting trans pregnancy and the many complications of experiencing dysphoria in pregnancy, and supporting my needs as a trans parent through the birthing process. Additionally, I have hypertension and rheumatoid arthritis, and persistent proteinuria and am seeing a high risk doctor for my birth. I would like to have a non-c-section in the hospital setting with my MFM practice, and be supported in my needs as a gestational parent and birthing person. Also I would like a doula who is equipped to support my wife as non-gestational parent and new queer parents. We have dealt with loss (she had an early miscarriage when we TTC'd earlier in life) and this has impacted my experience of pregnancy as well. I plan to give birth at NYU Langone. Our estimated budget for a doula is $2500, but we are just starting this journey and are open to alternatives.
Looking for assistance with a home birth . I am open to a water birth as well. I have no insurance so i will be paying out of pocket. My budget is $5,000- $7,000 but i am flexible. I need someone to walk me through what to expect from the home birth and any possible issues that comes from this and thats mainly it. I dont expect someone to stick around for days after the birrth but someone who can access my and the babies condition to know if i need to go to the hospital and or if everything is ok. I dont have a birth plan yes as i am currently 14 weeks with my first child and i just feel lost. I dont have anyone in my circle to help me. i am currently 28 years old and am already stressed after gaining 20 lbs so far in my pregnancy depsite eating the same. At my 12 week appoint and my NT scan everything was looking good based on my OBGYN. i need some one with some experince but most importabtly the confidense and know how. Im not picky i just need someone who is sure of themselves and it isnt their first time.

Dear Pippa, My husband Sam and I are expecting our second child in mid September of this year. Sam will take off one week to ten days for paternity leave and then another week or so later in the year. We have a two year old son (Hugo) who will be in school from 8:30 to 1:30 Monday through Friday. I would like to speak with you about our specific needs, but I think it would be something like three days for five hours in the first week I’m home from the hospital, five days for five hours the next week, and then maybe two or three days for four hours the week after that. If you have availability to help us, it would be great to speak with you on the phone. Thank you, Nora Watson
