I plan on giving birth at a hospital I have Medicaid so I’m currently looking for a Medicaid doula
Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first child, and we are currently looking for a supportive, experienced doula team to help guide us through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I plan to give birth at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and am considered high risk due to prior surgery, maternal age (35), and obesity-related risk factors. Because of this, I’m specifically looking for a doula with experience supporting high-risk pregnancies and hospital births. As first-time parents, we would really value education and guidance on what to expect before, during, and after labor. I’m looking for someone who can help us feel informed, prepared, and confident throughout the process. My goal is to have a vaginal birth if medically possible, and I’m hoping to find: A Birth Doula for labor support A Postpartum Doula for recovery and newborn transition support Potential additional postpartum/night nanny support if needed after delivery Ideally, I’d love someone based in the Orlando area who is available for in-person meetings before birth and who has reliable on-call availability when labor begins. We’re looking for someone calm, knowledgeable, supportive, and collaborative with hospital staff while also advocating for a positive birth experience. Looking forward to connecting!

I plan on giving birth at the Celebration Advent Hospital and I live in Celebration, FL, 10 minutes away from the hospital. This will be my second delivery there. The first time my water broke without any progression and I was given induction medicine and it took over 26 hours to deliver. I do not want induction medicine and I want to be able to move as long as possible but I'm worried I won't be able to advocate strongly enough for myself and be influenced by the amount of pain. I'm looking for a strong advocate and coach. Someone who would be able to stick with me for a week after birth for some help post partum would also be ideal.
