I’m planning to deliver at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence with the midwives at the birthing center, and I’m based in Mansfield, MA. I’m looking for a doula who is experienced with Women & Infants and supportive of a midwife-led birth experience. This is my first baby and pregnancy, so looking for all the advice and support! My insurance doesn't cover doulas and I was wondering how much your full service is from not until labor and delivery . I have a lot of anxiety regarding giving birth and it's my first child and just looking for someone to talk with me prior and be there for my fiancé and I during.

I plan to give birth in hospital with absolutely no interventions. I have Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. My goal is no interventions, and please I would like to work with someone that practices informed consent and will not get personally angry or treat me differently if I deny a given procedure!

I plan to give birth at UMass Memorial Hospital. I don’t have a budget in mind, just collecting information for now. Am I able to use FSA funds to pay for these services? I plan to have an epidural and would like the labor & delivery process to be as quick and painless as possible.

Birth Plan hospital birth I would like a physiological vaginal birth in a calm, low-stimulation environment. I prefer minimal lighting (dim lights or fairy lights) and a quiet, supportive atmosphere. I request no cervical checks unless medically necessary or unless I give consent. I would like to avoid medical interventions, including induction, artificial rupture of membranes (water breaking), IV fluids, and epidural, unless they are medically necessary or I request it. I would like to be informed and give consent before any interventions are performed. I prefer to labor and push in positions that feel natural to me, following my body’s cues rather than coached pushing. After birth, I would like delayed cord clamping until the cord has completely stopped pulsating. I prefer a natural delivery of the placenta without manual removal or medications, unless medically necessary. I would also like to keep my placenta. Immediately after delivery, I want uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact for at least one hour, and to delay routine newborn procedures unless medically necessary. I understand that situations may arise that require medical intervention. If so, I ask that all options be clearly explained to me and that I am included in decision-making whenever possible. Estimated budget 1000-12000 hoping my health insurance can cover it all.
