Looking for a faith-based doula for L&D and postpartum breastfeeding support. My last experience was without one and I feel having an experienced advocate in the room will be helpful. I want someone to help me feel supported and help me voice my preferences / needs during. Having a vaginal birth with minimal intervention is important to me. I’d love to birth at home but husband prefers we do hospital so we’ll be doing York wellspan hospital. Budget is ~$1500, and birth plan is as above, and limiting iv fluids, limiting induction interventions and avoiding C-section when able, and birthing in positions other than on back and legs up. Golden hour. Set up for best success with breastfeeding. Etc.

Hello, This is my first pregnancy, for both of us. I would consider myself to be relatively low-risk and fit to carry. I am looking for a midwife to oversee my baby and our progress, as well as a Doula for birth and some pregnancy guidance. I have a history of anxiety and depression as it relates to PTSD, so I like to talk things out as they progress. I am interested in a natural birth, perhaps in water, or an at home situation. We have a budget of what insurance can cover and about 150 a month more. I want my partner there for the birth, in a very chill, spiritually ambient environment. Thank you!

second baby , first one was in the hospital and i did have hypertension with him. did not like my hospital experience or the nurses i had. wondering if a home / water birth is even safe for me this pregnancy with my history of blood pressure issues. i’m currently 22 weeks with a baby girl and want to go all natural. no pitocin , no epidural. only want to go to the hospital for baby girl to get a vitamin k shot , otherwise i’d love to stay out of hospitals this time around. hoping for someone who takes pennsylvania state insurance as im located in hanover pa and we dont make alot of money combined with all the bills we have.

I plan to birth at home and am looking for the most affordable option, or potential payment plan. I’m not entirely sure what my ideal birth would be at the moment just that I would prefer the comfort of my home, and potentially a water birth.

Im a 18 year old mom thats currently 4 months along (exactly 15 weeks and 2 days) wanting to do a home birth but still wants to see a OBGYN or something similar to it so I dont have to give birth in a hospital unless absolutely necessary. I currently have no money at the moment but I have a partner who makes around 300 a week and we need at least 150 for necessities so if more money is necessary we would have to talk it out and figure out what we can do. I hate having to do doctor visits on a frequent basis but once every month is fine with me and maybe two or three times a month by my third trimester, im willing to have it be more frequent if the doctor thinks its necessary, and I would prefer if the visits were between Friday to Monday (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) at any time. Im not a picky person when it comes to what someone thinks I should or shouldnt do so any medicine or exercise routines im definitely willing to agree to and I dont mind having to shift around some of my plans in n case of complications and worry, I would just prefer a home birth but I know in case of emergency my partner would prefer for me to give birth in a hospital, so ill do whatever the doctor thinks is best but only if complications arise. I did recently move and plan on moving again soon so I dont have any medical history on me at the moment besides my ultrasound and hospital release forms. I dont know what else to really say so for any questions im glad to answer some later on during this process.
