Shay is an amazing night nanny/nanny! She is professional, on time for her shifts and helpful. She took care of my newborn with the greatest care, while also assisting with cleaning bottles/pump parts, restocking the nursery and keeping track of my infants schedule. She was extremely helpful in getting my baby on a schedule and sleep training her. My baby is happy, healthy and growing, thanks to Shay’s assistance!

Hey there! My name is Ariel Gallop and I’m a doctor of physical therapy with specialized training in pelvic therapy. I grew up in Austin, Texas but moved to California for the beach bonfires (and grad school). I got into the PT profession after getting into a pretty bad boating accident. I was in PT for over a year relearning to walk and got to see many different types of PT. I was fascinated by the various facets of PT. I love getting to meet people where they are and walk alongside them on their journey to living their best life. I am passionate about pelvic therapy because it provides a holistic approach to treat all people with inclusive care that finds the driver of their pain or dysfunction. I started Restore Pelvic Therapy because I wanted to be able to provide patient centric care, that is evidence based, and alter my plan of care based on what the patients need instead of what was strictly outlined by insurance companies. My passion in life is getting to work with people to improve their function in order to fully participate in life’s best moments. I want you to always feel empowered and heard. I am passionate about pelvic therapy because I believe everyone should live a symptom free life with dignity and without having to settle for "living with it". At Restore Pelvic Therapy we treat everything from male or female pelvic pain, urinary stress or fecal incontinence, urgency and frequency, constipation or IBS, prolapse or hernias, people that are pregnant or postpartum, DRA (diastasis recti), painful bladder syndrome, pelvic congestion syndrome, post abdominal or pelvic surgeries (i.e. excision surgery, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, C-section, etc) and more! When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, reading the next book club hit, walking along the beach listening to true crime podcasts, or biking around looking for the best burrito.

Hello Everyone ! My name is Destiny and I am a Doula in the San Diego community. Since I’ve become a doula I have never felt more aligned in my life! The military brought me here to San Diego but birth work is keeping me here. But the short term goal is full spectrum doula. Can’t wait to meet you wonderful people and I can’t wait to work with you to make your birth one of the best moment that you’ll always remember !

With the birth of my niece in 2022, I began learning about the world of birth support and decided to take the jump into birth work at the start of 2025. In March, I trained as a doula with DONA at San Diego County Midwives, and knew I wanted to start my work in the volunteer space. Since May 2025, I have volunteered with UCSD's Hearts & Hands doula program and have logged over 130 hours on the Labor & Delivery floor as a badged member of the team, giving me invaluable hands-on experience for all types of births. I have continued my education in multiple areas including: -Peanut ball training with San Diego County Midwives -Spinning Babies® workshop -WIC's lactation seminar -Observed a 5-week Childbirth/Hypnobirthing course with The Birth Education Center. -I am trained in HIPAA protocols, hospital best practices, am up to date on vaccines, and am CPR certified. I now have plans to take what I have learned in my volunteer births and further education and start accepting private clients in 2026! Outside of the birth room I enjoy reading, hosting dinner parties, eating Wayfarer pastries at the park, puttering around the garden, and spending time with my husband and family. I am wishing you nothing but love and warmth during this transformative time and am available even if you just need someone to talk to.

They say if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I found my passion as a postpartum doula and have not worked a day since. In the current culture parents have so much pressure to be perfect and do it on their own. I have made it my mission to educate parents on the benefits of having support during the fourth trimester, and that it truly does take a village.

I can not recommend Heather enough. She helped me through one of my most vulnerable times and became a key player in my breastfeeding success. Heather accurately identified tongue, lip, and cheek ties in my daughter and helped shed light on why we had been having feeding issues. She supported us through our decision to get her ties revised and helped us navigate her recovery. Heather is an expert in her field and continues to be a main source of support with my breastfeeding journey. I am so happy we found Heather and would recommend her whole heartedly to anyone who finds themselves overwhelmed or struggling with breastfeeding.
