About me

Hey there! My name is Ariel Gallop and I’m a doctor of physical therapy with specialized training in pelvic therapy. I grew up in Austin, Texas but moved to California for the beach bonfires (and grad school). I got into the PT profession after getting into a pretty bad boating accident. I was in PT for over a year relearning to walk and got to see many different types of PT. I was fascinated by the various facets of PT. I love getting to meet people where they are and walk alongside them on their journey to living their best life. I am passionate about pelvic therapy because it provides a holistic approach to treat all people with inclusive care that finds the driver of their pain or dysfunction. I started Restore Pelvic Therapy because I wanted to be able to provide patient centric care, that is evidence based, and alter my plan of care based on what the patients need instead of what was strictly outlined by insurance companies. My passion in life is getting to work with people to improve their function in order to fully participate in life’s best moments. I want you to always feel empowered and heard. I am passionate about pelvic therapy because I believe everyone should live a symptom free life with dignity and without having to settle for "living with it". At Restore Pelvic Therapy we treat everything from male or female pelvic pain, urinary stress or fecal incontinence, urgency and frequency, constipation or IBS, prolapse or hernias, people that are pregnant or postpartum, DRA (diastasis recti), painful bladder syndrome, pelvic congestion syndrome, post abdominal or pelvic surgeries (i.e. excision surgery, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, C-section, etc) and more! When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking, reading the next book club hit, walking along the beach listening to true crime podcasts, or biking around looking for the best burrito.
