About Abby
I’m a Postpartum Doula in Montgomery County. Maryland offering holistic-minded postpartum support that draws inspiration from ancient postpartum care traditions and the slow living movement. Native to Puerto Rico, my interest in birth and postpartum care was fully realized after seeing my 17th sibling born at home with a beautiful local midwife. She apprenticed and ignited my passion for birth work as an 11 year old. Decades later, it is my joy and privilege to walk alongside mothers during this sacred time.
Postpartum Doula packages and pricing
Postpartum Doula Care - 6 Weeks
+ One - Two Planning for Postpartum Sessions - prior to your birth we will virtually meet to create a postpartum plan tailored to your unique needs so you feel confident and supported for postpartum. We’ll cover breastfeeding, bonding, sleep, nutrition, afterbirth recovery, emotional changes, gathering your village, relationship & family dynamics and more. + One Meal Planning Session - a 30-minute virtual discussion where we will cover food for your postpartum. May include meal train creation, recipes, shopping list, and meal prep party. + One Meal Prep Party (optional) - a fun, hands-on session to prep freezer meals that nourish and support you through postpartum. Typically 3-4 hours session in your home that can include family & friends or just you and me! * + 18 Half-Day Postpartum Visits - 3x a week, 4 hours a day for 6 weeks. These visits will be dependent on your needs day of but can include: Light housework Meal & snack preparation Breastfeeding & bottle feeding support Family sleep education and support Guided deep breathing sessions Emotional support, chats, shoulder rubs, tea and anything else you need + Unlimited Call & Text Support - 9 weeks. + Postpartum Planning Trello Board – our online interactive planner that includes lists of resources, recipes, and more. *Ingredients for meal preparation are not included.
Postpartum Doula Care - 9 weeks

We’ll cover breastfeeding, bonding, sleep, nutrition, afterbirth recovery, emotional changes, gathering your village, relationship & family dynamics and more. +One Meal Planning Session - a 30-minute virtual discussion where we will cover food for your postpartum. May include meal train creation, recipes, shopping list, and meal prep party. + One Meal Party (optional) - a fun, hands-on session to prep freezer meals that nourish and support you through postpartum.Typically 3-4 hours session in your home that can include family and friends or just you and me! * + 27 Half-Day Postpartum Visits - 3x a week, 4 hours a day for 9 weeks. These visits will be dependent on your needs day of but can include: Light housework Meal & snack preparation Breastfeeding & bottle feeding support Family sleep education and support Guided deep breathing sessions Emotional support, chats, shoulder rubs, tea and anything else you need! + Unlimited Call & Text Support - 12 weeks. + Postpartum Planning Trello Board – our online interactive planner that includes lists of resources, recipes, and more. + Mother Honoring Ceremony - our last visit will be to honor you as a mother (whether new or mother of many already). This can be between me and you, or include family & friends. (If this does not interest you, we will adapt the last visit to your needs) *Ingredients for meal preparation are not included.
Virtual Postpartum Doula Care
+ One Planning for Postpartum Session - prior to the birth of your baby we will meet to create a postpartum plan tailored to your unique needs so you feel confident and supported for postpartum. We’ll cover breastfeeding, bonding, sleep, nutrition and meals, afterbirth recovery, emotional changes, gathering your village, relationship & family dynamics and more. + One Meal Planning Session - a 30 minute virtual discussion where we will cover food for your postpartum. May include meal train creation, recipes, and shopping list. Can include guidance on meal prep party with friends & family or solo. + Four Virtual Postpartum Check-ins - 45 minute sessions 1x a week for 4 weeks. These visits will be dependent on your needs day of but can include emotional support, education, and guided deep breathing. + Unlimited Call & Text Support - 6 weeks. + Postpartum Planning Trello Board – our online interactive planner that includes lists of resources, recipes and more.

Hello! I'm La Doula Abby (The Doula Abby) and I'm here for you. I’m a Postpartum Doula in Montgomery County, MD offering holistic-minded postpartum support that draws inspiration from ancient postpartum care traditions and the slow living movement. Native to Puerto Rico, my interest in birth and postpartum care was realized after seeing my 17th sibling born at home with a beautiful local midwife. She apprenticed and ignited my passion for birth work as an 11 year old. Decades later, it is my joy and privilege to walk alongside mothers during this sacred time. The transition into parenthood is full of challenges, from sleepless nights to the grief of leaving your old self behind. I’m here not only to walk alongside you, but to help you create a postpartum experience where you can rest, heal, and truly embrace a slower pace during your golden month. Preparation is key when it comes to creating this which is why I meet with you before baby comes to ensure we can plan for better outcomes no matter what happens in the fourth trimester. You deserve support as you bond with baby and honor your own healing and transition period—I will be with you through all of it.
