I don’t have anyone to watch my eight year old son when I go into labor

I plan to give birth at Women and infants. I think they are planning on inducing me because I am considered higher risk. Our budget is between 800-1000, but can go up to 1200 if it's the right person. My birth plan is to not die basically. I don't know. I know I want an epidural. I don't know what my options are. My husband and I have a history of medical trauma, and so there is some anxiety on his part going in.

I am looking for a doula or midwife to assist in an unmediated hospital vbac. I’m looking for someone who accepts Mass General Brigham insurance. I’m looking for prenatal visits (in person preferably) as well as labor and birth attendance. I’m interested in practicing hypnobirthing but mainly looking to build a strong, supportive, relationship with my doula before birth. I’d love to have a doula for coaching purposes as I’d like to have a natural unmedicated birth this time around, I plan to give birth at st Luke’s in New Bedford, I have masshealth for insurance and wasn’t sure if they cover doula care. I’d like to labor at home as much as possible before going to hospital and I’d like the freedom to move around while laboring, my first time I was induced and had an epidural so I wasn’t able to move at all and had a decently long labor so I’d like to try something different this time

My husband is currently deployed so I won’t have a birthing partner. I will have my mom, but I want somebody who is experienced and knows different techniques for a smooth and easy labor and delivery.
