About me

Empowering Women on Their Birthing and Postpartum Journeys With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, my lifelong commitment has been to the well-being of mothers and children. My primary focus has been in the maternal/child specialty, caring for families as they welcome new life and guiding them through the transformative experiences of childbirth and the early days of parenting. Building on these decades of hands-on care, I am honored to now offer my expertise as a postpartum doula, certified childbirth educator, and placenta encapsulation specialist. I am deeply passionate about empowering women throughout their birthing journey—believing that with purposeful preparation comes both confidence and assurance. My mission is to help each woman discover her own innate abilities as we navigate together all aspects of birth, from understanding the nuances of labor to embracing the unique joys and challenges of the newborn period. Education and support are at the heart of my practice. I provide evidence-based recommendations for the common course of early postpartum recovery, tailored to promote wellness and holistic healing. Whether you are seeking guidance on newborn care, emotional reassurance, or resources to enhance your postpartum experience, I am here to walk alongside you—offering not only practical advice, but also compassionate presence. As we partner together, my goal is to foster a sense of empowerment and confidence, helping you to trust in your own wisdom as a parent. I believe every family’s journey is unique, and I am dedicated to supporting you in making informed choices that align with your values and needs. On a personal note, I am wife to David for over 35 years, mother of four adult children and MaMi to eight grand-children. My oldest daughter is Midwife Grace Jackson who I work with in her home-birth practice. I look forward to being a reassuring guide and advocate on your path to joyful, confident parenthood.

This class provides a great overview of everything you need to know to prepare for childbirth and postpartum in every birth setting. As a doula I highly recommend this course, and often encourage my clients to attend these sessions instead of going to the classes provided at the hospital. Mrs. Adele goes in depth, creates connections, and provides a beautiful and realistic picture of what childbirth is actually like. This is my favorite childbirth education course. 💞

I couldn’t ever put into words how thankful I am for Adele. Her presence in the birth space is just beautiful. She’s calm, respectful, caring, but also knows her stuff and knows how to handle all things that come with birth and baby’s. She has been with me through 2 baby’s and encapsulated both placentas. I couldn’t imagine not having her by my side. She will always be a special person in my life and my family and I are forever thankful for her and the expertise she carries with her.
