Hi, I’m Aerin—founder of That Mama Rooted, a faith-based doula practice grounded in nurturing, presence, and purpose. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, photographer, and mother of three who believes that motherhood is sacred and that every woman deserves to feel supported, seen, and safe throughout her journey. My philosophy is simple: you were made for this, and you don’t have to do it alone. I offer emotional, physical, and spiritual support to help you feel deeply held in one of life’s most powerful transitions. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or navigating your fourth postpartum season, I come alongside you with prayer, evidence-based care, and heart-led encouragement. I loved having Aerin as my virtual doula since I ended up giving birth to my baby while on vacation prematurely. Aerin was a great resource to have when it came to questions about my role as a NICU mom. She helped me advocate for myself regarding my role during my baby’s care time and skin to skin. She was also very encouraging when it came to my pumping journey as it looks a little different since baby is not with me at all times. Honestly Aerin has been a tremendous help emotionally as well as I navigate this life changing event unexpectedly, she’s amazing and I will definitely have her as my doula for any future pregnancies. 10/10

Aerin is very professional, and you can tell this is something she is very passionate about. Something she truly enjoys, it showed a lot when she was my doula. I felt safe, I felt heard, and because of her my labor was so smooth! No pain meds :) she’s also very funny (lol) also! She’s a mother too so it was nice listening to her. I wouldn’t know what to do without having her there with me. I plan on using her for my next! We love you Aerin, thank you for all you do!!
