Review for Aimee M – Birth & Postpartum Support I can’t say enough wonderful things about Aimee M and the support she provided during the birth of our baby and throughout the postpartum period. From the moment we connected, Aimee brought a sense of calm, confidence, and deep knowledge that immediately put us at ease. Her presence during labor was nothing short of amazing she was attentive, intuitive, and incredibly supportive, knowing exactly when to step in and when to give space. It was like she could read the room and adjust her support to exactly what was needed in the moment. Postpartum, Aimee continued to be a lifeline. Her guidance, encouragement, and genuine care helped us navigate those early days with more confidence and much less stress. She always made me feel heard and cared for, never judged just supported with grace and kindness. Aimee is not just skilled she’s ingeniously amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for truly exceptional birth and postpartum support. She was a gift to our journey, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed. – Jennifer K.

Having Aime Mite as our doula was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy and birth. Her warm, kind, and steady presence was exactly what we needed. In our prenatal visits, she helped us prepare with useful 'tricks' and patiently answered all our questions. During labor, she was a constant source of support, suggesting positions, providing comfort measures, and offering reassuring words when I needed them most. She also helped my husband understand what was going on and empowered him to be an active part of the process. Even when things didn't go exactly as planned, Aime helped us navigate the changes with confidence and calm. Her dedication and knowledge made a significant difference in our birth experience, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she did. We wholeheartedly recommend Aime Mite to anyone seeking exceptional doula support!.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a doula? A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after childbirth. Doulas do not replace medical providers or make clinical decisions—we support you and your family so you feel confident, informed, and cared for. 2. What’s the difference between a birth doula and a postpartum doula? A birth doula supports you during pregnancy and labor, helping with birth preparation and providing continuous support during delivery. A postpartum doula helps after the baby arrives—offering newborn care, emotional support, feeding guidance, and household help as you adjust to life with a new baby. 3. Do you attend hospital, home, or birth center births? Yes! I support births in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings. Wherever you choose to give birth, I’ll be there to offer calm, continuous support. 4. Do you support medicated or unmedicated births? Absolutely. I support all kinds of births—epidural, natural, cesarean, VBAC, and everything in between. My goal is to honor your preferences and help you have an empowered experience, no matter your path. 5. When should I hire a doula? The sooner, the better! Many families reach out in the second trimester to reserve a spot, but I also take later bookings if space is available. For postpartum support, booking before baby arrives helps ensure I’m available when you need me most. 6. Can my partner still be involved if I have a doula? Yes! Doulas do not replace partners—we enhance their experience, too. I support both of you, offering suggestions, reassurance, and breaks when needed. Many partners feel more confident and connected with a doula’s guidance. 7. Do you offer payment plans? Yes, I offer flexible payment options. Let’s discuss what works best for your family during our consultation. 8. Are you certified? Yes, I’ve completed professional doula training and continue my education regularly to provide the best care possible. (You can add specific certifying bodies here like DONA, CAPPA)
