Hi, I’m Dess- mom of three four and under, 2x Hyperemesis survivor and self proclaimed “birth witch” I am a student doula training under Our Earth here in New Mexico, and am training with the APPA for my placenta encapsulation certification. I firmly believe all families deserve doula care regardless of income or spiritual background and offer spiritually based care along side my services. When I’m not studying or helping clients I can often be found teaching my sons about nature and the world around us.

My name is Kim Racette. I have been a certified birth doula since 2010 and founder and teacher of Faithful Beginnings Birth Class. I feel honored and blessed by God to have been put on this path. I rejoice in childbirth, and I want all birthing stories to be good. My dream is that our grand-daughters and great-grand-daughters will come to have only positive stories of birth. Stories of strength and courage, stories of beauty and joy, stories that will empower them to have wonderful births of their own.

I’m a community based labor and birth doula. I’ve trained with multiple organizations, including trauma and trans informed care. I am Whitney and pregnancy and motherhood have changed me forever in a million beautiful ways. After years of knowing I wanted to be a healer, I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico with the original intention of going to medical school afterwards. I became disenchanted with the medical field and then became a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner as I was searching for how to fulfill my calling in integrity. Birth work finally found me after I became a mother myself and this has become my focus! Within the same year of giving birth, I became a certified doula. I am a lifelong learner who is continuing independent midwifery studies and who is in the middle of Birthkeeping school with Whapio of La Matrona. I have much to offer in my service including with yoga, meditation, essential oils, herbal remedies, homeopathy, and deep anatomical understanding. The biggest thing I want to help women with is learning how to dream big when it comes to their labors and then giving women the tools to make that dream become a bit more possible as a birth coach, educator, and doula/Birthkeeper. I recently had a very blissful labor journey with my second baby and I can't wait to help other women find similarly blissful/orgasmic/ecstatic births of their own!

I am a Mom of 6. I am passionate about supporting and empowering women through their child bearing years and beyond. I am Tintawi Kaigziabiher, and my family and I live in Northern New Mexico. As a woman of African Descent. I recognize the importance of both science and tradition in uplifting Black and Indigenous communities. My husband and I have five living children. We have also experienced five pregnancy losses. Understanding the impact of personal pregnancy loss and stillbirth among families has inspired me to want to support as many people as possible so they can live to see their child’s birth, first birthday, and beyond. It is equally important that people have support through pregnancy loss. In my day-to-day life, I am an interdisciplinary artist, a writer, Olorisa (Lukumi Priest), Certified Lactation Counselor (ALPP), Certified Birth Doula (CBI), former Certified Trainer (CBI), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider, the Executive Director of the nonprofit ILE IFE, a PAILAdvocate Trainer (Pregnancy and Infant Loss), and the founder of the Our Earth Full Spectrum Community Birth and Postpartum Attendant (CBPA) training program. I am a published author, and my most recent work is a book entitled “The Bead Griot.” My writing and artwork center on giving voice to the experiences of African people living in the diaspora. I have worked in maternal and infant health since 2004 and professionally since 2009. I have assisted midwives, trained with birth attendants in traditional and evidence-based care, worked with families in home and hospital births, trained doulas and full-spectrum Community Birth and Postpartum Attendants (CBPAs), and supported women and birthing people in New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, and overseas, both virtually and in-person as needed. In collaboration with several statewide organizations I am part of, I seek to uncover disparities in reproductive health care and, with community members, develop unique solutions to improve outcomes for our most vulnerable yet resilient people.

Arianna is a certified labor and postpartum doula trained through Labor and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). Arianna has had the honor of offering labor and postpartum services for the past two and a half years. Prior to her dedication to birth work, she worked as a private nanny and holds a degree in early childhood education, as her passion was working with children in preschool settings pre pandemic. Arianna believes in furthering her education as a professional and extending her skills and offerings to her clients. Currently she is training to become a certified lactation consultant. Other offerings and services she provides for clients include postpartum care, overnights, babywearing, consultations, Beng Kung belly binding, Closing the Bones Ceremonies, Placenta Ceremonies, and the use of aromatherapy. Her intentions are to provide families with continuous support through early pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early childhood. She admire’s long lasting professional relationships with her clients. Arianna has supported a wide variety of births from unmedicated hospital births, epidurals, birth center births and twins. As your Doula, Arianna will honor your birth as you see it.
