About Allison
Hello, and welcome! I’m Allison Riddle and I’m a passionate Doula, Postpartum Doula and Epidoula supporting moms in Georgetown, KY and surrounding counties! I also provide support with lactation & education. I’m dedicated to empowering women to embrace their birth experiences fully. My first birth turned into an unexpected emergency c-section, which really made me advocate for myself during my second pregnancy. I was able to achieve a successful VBAC and then went on to have an unmedicated VBAC with my third. It was through those experiences that gave me the passion & desire to help other mom’s achieve the birth that they so long for. By providing comprehensive education and support, I help you better understand your options and make informed decisions. My goal is to ensure that you are an active participant in your birth experience, along with walking alongside you during your prenatal & postpartum periods.

Birth Preference & Education Session
- two hour scheduled call - go through what to expect if you are doing a hospital birth from check in to discharge - provide education on birth preferences & talk through each option in depth - customized birth preferences sent to your inbox to have at birth - answering any questions you may have - unlimited access to communication 2 weeks prior guess date & after delivery
Nesting Package
The weeks leading up to birth can be an exciting, but overwhelming time with the preparations needed before baby comes. This service allows me to be the extra hand and support person to assist with preparing your home. We will meet prior to me coming to discuss what is left on your to-do list. This offering includes but are not limited to: - Setting up and organizing nursery/baby items - Running errands - Washing new baby clothes & linens - Reorganizing home spaces to accommodate the growing family - Setting up stations for breastfeeding/pumping, diaper changes, postpartum supplies - Assistance with selecting & purchasing last minute baby items
Registry Building Session
- two hour scheduled call - assistance in building registry - give insight on product selections - each recommended product will have been researched in depth by me that best supports mama & baby
Basic Labor Package
3 prenatal visits Curate a birth plan (if desired) On - call support starting two weeks prior to guess date - Continuous physical, emotional support along with non medical pain/comfort measures during labor - Informational & emotional advocacy during labor - Lactation support post birth - Staying 2 hours post birth - 1 post birth debrief session - 3 weeks of continuous phone/text after birth - Warm meal brought post delivery - Resourcing & referrals
"Eleventh Hour" Labor Support
Applies to women who are 34-38 weeks along in their pregnancy needing birth support 2 hour prenatal visit - On - call support starting two weeks prior to guess date - Continuous physical, emotional support along with non medical pain/comfort measures during labor - Informational & emotional advocacy during labor - Lactation support post birth - Staying 1 hour post birth - 2 weeks of continuous phone calls/text after birth - Warm meal brought & debrief session after birth
Daytime Postpartum Support
- One meeting during pregnancy to establish what you envision your postpartum to look like and establishing a plan - Debrief session after birth - Lactation Support - Up to 3 weeks of continuous phone/text support after birth - Each visit is at least two hours long and will include what has been established in your customized plan and can easily be adjusted as time goes on. A nourishing meal will be brought to the first visit as well Services that are available to be customized within time frame each visit: - Restock nursing/feeding stations & diaper stations - Clean bottle/pump parts - Light tidying up - Wear/hold baby while mom rests, showers, runs errands, etc - Wash, fold & put away baby laundry - Grocery shop or pickup to deliver - Change crib sheet - Wash dishes/load dishwasher
Postpartum Planning Session
Together we will come up with a clear & custom plan for how to have the most restful, nourishing & bond building fourth trimester. Having a trained support person through the fourth trimester can be invaluable, but not always in the budget so that is why I’ve created these session opportunities.
What to expect
I offer a wide range of services including prenatal, birth & postpartum. I offer a full comprehensive package which is my favorite. That means I support you as soon as we meet all the way through postpartum. I offer education services, nesting services & a registry building sessions during pregnancy. I offer two birth packages: the "eleventh hour" & full labor support. I offer daytime postpartum support & only offer nighttime support for birth clients & have a postpartum planning session. Prenatal (besides the nesting package) & the postpartum planning session can be done virtually if needed. *birth packages are lump sum due in full 2 weeks prior to guess date or we can split into payments throughout pregnancy
