I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and would like to get started early with education, planning, and preparation for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Since this is my first pregnancy, I am still learning about my options and am not yet sure what type of birth I would like to have. I would appreciate a doula who can educate me on different birth options, help me understand what to expect throughout pregnancy, and support me in creating a flexible birth plan as I learn what feels right for me. We are looking for an experienced Mandarin-speaking birth doula who can provide labor support, hospital advocacy, emotional support, comfort measures, and breastfeeding guidance. My wife is more comfortable communicating in Mandarin Chinese, so bilingual support is very important. We are planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural pain management if needed, but we are open to medical recommendations. We're usually planners, and this pregnancy was a bit of a surprise, so Mom is feeling nervous.
