I did have a doula, and instead of guiding me through those hard moments, I felt like I had to ask for support and she was not proactive. First baby on the way, due March 28, 2027! We're in the Smyrna/Atlanta area and planning a hospital birth at Piedmont Atlanta or Northside Cherokee, so experience at either would be great. We're usually planners, and this pregnancy was a bit of a surprise, so Mom is feeling nervous. We're hoping to find an experienced doula who can guide us through the whole process, help us think through pain management, and help us avoid an unnecessary C-section by asking the right questions along the way.
