Alysha was such an important part of my pregnancy and labor/delivery journey. I really believe that I could not have done it without her. She is so knowledgeable about what she does. She is very trusting, kind, and attentive. Her support during labor was exceptional. She was exactly what I wanted in a doula. I had a great experience with her for my second birth. I’d recommend Alysha to anyone considering hiring her or anyone on the fence about a doula. You will not regret it. If you’re on the fence about whether or not you should hire Alysha, climb over that fence! She was absolutely monumental during the birth of our daughter.
This was our first baby, and Alysha guided us literally step by step, starting weeks before birth with preparation, exercises, stretches, and affirmations. She was also on call for us the entire week leading up to delivery and, of course, was right there with us in the room (and shower!) when it was finally go time.
Our birth plan unexpectedly shifted to an induction, and Alysha was incredible at helping my husband and me understand our options and navigate each decision along the way. During labor, she provided constant physical and emotional support, coaching us through every contraction. She helped us stay calm, confident, and focused, and played a huge role in helping us achieve the unmedicated birth we had hoped for.
I’ll admit that my husband was initially on the fence about having a doula, too. After our experience, we both agree that we cannot imagine going through birth without Alysha. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, compassionate, and such a steady presence throughout the entire process and helped give him just as much confidence and reassurance too.
We are so grateful for everything she did for our family and would recommend Alysha to anyone preparing for birth!

Alysha was so amazing during the birth of our son! She truly made all the difference in the moments where things got tough during labor and delivery. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is considering a doula. She knows what to do in the heat of the moment and can be a great assistance for your support person as well. She ensures that medical staff are reminded of your birth plan elections, which I found to be especially helpful when I was unable to advocate for myself in the middle of labor.

We hired Alysha after our previous doula was not available, and we couldn’t have been more happy! I loved her constant support, helpful suggestions to help with pain relief during labor, and helpful kind demeanor during labor. I really didn’t want to get induced and Alysha was very supportive and helpful with different options and more information to help us make all the decisions during labor. She also worked super well with the hospital staff and was very encouraging to help while supporting me in my birth preferences. Finally, even after my baby was born she stuck around to make sure I felt comfortable latching. She even prepared me a snack before she left to make sure my body was being nourished after the hard work of labor. I would suggest Alysha to anyone who wants a well versed and supportive doula. Also, I really appreciated all the helpful tips on ways to prepare for labor in our prenatal meetings. She even talked about nutrition in our initial interview before I even hired her.

Alysha was a wonderful part of our birth experience with our second daughter. She provided detailed education during our prenatal visits, was easy and quick to communicate with, and had helpful guidance on a variety of decisions and preferences for the birth process. Alysha was absolutely fantastic throughout my whole pregnancy and birth. Her prenatal counseling helped my husband and I prepare both my body and mindset for birth. We also felt like we knew what to expect which removed a lot of fear surrounding pregnancy and birth. While I was planning for an unmedicated spontaneous labor and birth, I ended up being induced at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. Despite this change Alysha helped me labor unmedicated with Pitocin and helped me with position changes after my epidural was placed. Her presence is what made my birth so peaceful and positive. I had a cervical lip towards the end of my labor and the positions Alysha recommended helped that move so I could start pushing. She was such a fantastic cheerleader during pushing and helped me stay comfortable. She also helped us capture some precious memories during my labor and birth. Alysha made the birth of our son so special and positive despite having an induction. When my husband and I have another baby we will definitely be calling Alysha, I wouldn’t give birth with anyone else! 🩵

It was amazing to have Alysha support me throughout my pregnancy and birth. Alysha is worth her weight in gold. She truly made all the difference in me and my husband having a positive birth experience. Alysha has an incredible depth and breadth of knowledge when it comes to pregnancy and labor. She answered many of my questions, but was also comfortable telling me that everyone’s birth experience is different so it’s not a true science. She has a library of birthing books that you can rent from. She also knows many people in the area from pediatricians to pelvic floor therapists.
My birth (first time mama) went extremely fast and did not at all follow the traditional labor track. She encouraged us to follow our gut and head to the hospital. Contractions never got longer, but definitely intensified. Baby girl was in the wrong position, so Alysha used her expertise to put me in a different position on the peanut ball. My baby flipped to my left side and was here within the hour! After my bleeding slowed down, she went home so we could have bonding time with our little one. Alysha also took my placenta home and coordinated drop off with my mom. This was so incredibly important to me and she made it happen even with the hospital time crunch.
Alysha is so kind and knowledgeable. It’s important to her that you have a positive experience and address your fears around birth. She is also present to help you process the birth after the fact. If you’re considering Alysha for your birth, I would highly recommend her.

I am so thankful Alysha was my doula for my unmedicated birth! She was there from the beginning to help with my birth plan. She went above and beyond all my expectations and helped me achieve the birth that I prayed for! My husband was so impressed with how helpful she was during labor!
