At Dove & Lioness Doula Services, my faith is important to me and is a foundational block in how I believe and trust in the design of pregnancy and birth. I provide compassionate, personalized support for expectant families through every stage of their birthing journey. As a certified doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational guidance tailored to each family’s unique needs, helping them feel empowered and cared for. I also teach childbirth education classes to equip families with the knowledge and confidence they need for a positive birthing experience. In addition to my doula services, I capture the raw beauty and profound emotions of childbirth through professional birth photography. From fresh 48 sessions that document those precious first hours of life to detailed newborn photography, I preserve these unforgettable moments as cherished memories. My mission is to provide unwavering care, education, and artistry during one of life’s most transformative experiences.

My prices are flexible!!

It is important to me that if you are seeking support for your birth, or to have your birth captured, that you are able to receive that once in a lifetime support. If you and I meet for a consultation, and we are a good match to work together but you have fallen on hard times, I have the ability to offer case-by-case discounts or bartering of services. You only get one Birth Day, I want to offer my passion to make sure that if you're seeking support, you receive it.

There are not enough words that I could use to explain how intentional and caring Amie is! I was supported not only during my labor and delivery, but before in our prenatal appointments and now postpartum journey. Amie made sure I was educationally informed with each decision I could choose for my labor and delivery, and offered zero judgment on my decisions. She was my advocate in the hospital and kept me on my desired path when I felt like I couldn’t stand up for myself in a western medicine setting. Not only was she a phenomenal doula, but an equally spectacular photographer—because of her, I now have the most sacred photos of our labor and delivery experience as we welcomed our baby girl. Forever thankful for Amie!

"Amie took birth photos for my daughter recently and she was AMAZING! The birthing process is extremely personal. It’s also an emotional, stressful, and unpredictable time! Amie showed up around 4am and stayed until after noon! She was very considerate, professional, and with her doula background she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful explaining things if we had questions! We never felt awkward or like she was intruding, which I feel speaks volumes about her and her demeanor since we did not know her prior to hiring her to take the photos. When my daughter first told me there would be a photographer in the room (that she didn’t know) I was hesitant-but I’m so thankful that she chose Amie to be that photographer. Amie was fantastic as a doula and photographer! She took the time during pregnancy to get to know my husband and I and our preferences surrounding labor and delivery. She was very responsive to our questions (even when she wasn’t on call) and always offered suggestions and helpful information. She was amazing during labor, helping me with different positions to keep labor progressing, providing counter pressure when my husband needed a break or was busy setting other things up, and reminding me to eat and drink, handing me my water bottle or a spoonful of honey in between contractions when that was the last thing I would’ve thought of! Amie even filled the birth tub for us when I needed constant counter pressure from my husband!
