About me

Hello, it is so nice to meet you! My name is Angela Bastian, I am a DONA certified Postpartum Doula. My umbrella of services includes, lactation support, newborn care, mental health care, and household care. I am a mom to three beautiful boys, and one love in Heaven, with each postpartum experience a different journey. I would love to get the opportunity to support you and your family during your special postpartum time. I look at families holistically and nurture, educate, assess, and refer with each session. What I can tell you is that Angela is a fierce advocate for mothers and fathers and their children. Angela has walked through the grief and loss of a child during pregnancy, and has a heart and passion for journeying with parents to help the adjustment and bonding with their babies. Angela is well informed in all areas of child development with her teaching background. Angela is kind and able to set you at ease with her calm balanced approach to all that she does.

Angela was such a blessing to me (and my husband/daughter) as I navigated postpartum as a first time mom. I ended up having an emergency c section and adjusting to becoming a mom and healing physically was a lot. Not only was Angela an extra pair of hands during that wild time, but she took newborn photos at our home, was a wealth of knowledge while navigating milk supply and feeding options, and was a sounding board for my late night anxieties. I would recommend her to anyone entering their “fourth trimester”.
