I plan to give birth at Kaiser South Sacramento via planned C-section because I am expecting twins. My care is covered by insurance. I am looking for a care provider who can assist with both myself and my twin babies. A Vietnamese-speaking provider would be a huge plus! Key duties for the babies include bathing, hygiene care, daily personal care, baby massage, and gentle sleep training. For the mother, I would like postpartum recovery support and mother massage.

First baby, giving birth at UCSF Mission Bay in San Francisco. Looking for a birth doula to support my partner and I. Hoping to have an unmediated birth but very open to that changing depending on the circumstances. I live in the South West of SF. My husband needs to double check his work’s doula benefit so I’m not sure on our budget, happy to pay some out of pocket, but we’d like to pre-pay for our doula service, ideally in the next couple of weeks.

It is important to us to get detailed updates on how the baby did overnight. We want to make sure that the person providing the support fits well into our home. We would expect we need this support 4-5 nights per week for 10-16 weeks, and would seek to get support on sleep conditioning over that period of time. We are also evaluating if a birth doula is something that we want but have not yet decided on that.

Someone who is experienced in birth support, and who feels capable of holding the most sacred, steady energy with me to birth in a hospital, which is not my first choice but is supported by my doctor and midwives I asked because I have ITP (low platelets) and they both feel birthing in hospital is safest. I'm a sensitive and strong person, I want the least amount of intervention possible, and I thrive with caring, steady support. I am hoping to work through Kaiser insurance for at least partial coverage.

I am being induced soon -- 10/1/26 (39 weeks) -- at Kaiser Redwood City but just learned that health insurance now covers doulas so am a bit behind. I will use the birth plan from my first child as a rough guide but I know that it can all quickly go out the door as it did with him. My intention is to deliver vaginally and get an epidural.

Hi there! We have a 3 month old boy and currently are using a newborn care specialist overnight 7 nights a week. Her contract is up and of September and she is unable to extend. We are looking for someone who can watch him overnight in October until we are comfortable starting sleep training. We will be out of town October 12-16, but ideally would love someone to start October 1-11, and resume again October 16-October 31. We are located in Burlingame!
