Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible. I am looking for an experienced certified doula who has experience with Black birthing people. I am 42 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am high risk for pre-clampsia.

I am going in expecting to need an epidural but am also open to the idea of being unmedicated. I am looking for someone to assist with pain management and advocacy while in labor and for education in early/postpartum care for my baby (tips/tricks/lactation/mama stomach wrapping).
