Ashley Huntsman
About me
Hi, I'm Ashley! I have spent nearly my entire life caring for children. I started babysitting and nannying when I was 10 years old, and over the last 30+ years, my passion for supporting families has only grown. Today, I am a proud stay-at-home mom of five. Having successfully navigated the newborn trenches five times over with my own kids, I have a deep, lifelong understanding of what babies—and parents—need during those first few crucial months. I know exactly what it feels like to run on two hours of sleep, completely exhausted, just wishing for a solid night of rest to feel human again. That firsthand empathy is why I am transitioning my decades of practical, real-world experience into professional overnight newborn care. I plan to formally enroll in a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) certification program soon to pair my lifelong intuition with modern credentials. My goal is simple: I want you to go to bed, close your door, and sleep soundly knowing your baby is safe, loved, and in the hands of someone who has spent a lifetime safely caring for little ones.

Service introduction
I offer overnight care for newborns, typically from 10pm-6am, but am flexible, with an 8-hour minimum per night. Since I am launching this branch of my professional business and prepping for my upcoming classes, I am offering an introductory rate for my first few independent families. Here is exactly what I do during a shift: Handle all the nighttime feeds (either making bottles or bringing the baby to you if you nurse), burping, and diaper changes. Rock, soothe, and comfort your baby back to sleep. I practice responsive care, so I don't let newborns cry it out—I'm there the second they need me. Track everything on a night log (feedings, diaper changes, and sleep stretches) so you know exactly how the night went. Wash, sterilize, and prep all bottles and pump parts before I leave so your kitchen is clean and ready for the morning. Ratings and reviews
I had 5 night nannies after my baby was born, and Ashley was by far my favorite. If I had to do it again, I would hire Ashley from the start. She worked for me for 2 months, and I only wish I had found her sooner! She is dependable, punctual, flexible, gentle, caring, and follows directions perfectly. Her duties included warming bottles, feeding and burping the baby, diaper changes, putting him to bed, and staying in his room throughout the night. She also cleaned and sanitized the bottles after each feeding. Having Ashley there gave me peace of mind and allowed me to get quality sleep. When my baby was congested, she held him through the night and used nasal spray and an aspirator to help him breathe. With my approval, she also gave him gas drops when needed. If you’re considering hiring Ashley, don’t hesitate! She is an amazing night nanny who will give you something priceless during those early postpartum months: sleep and peace of mind. I 100% recommend her!
