I plan to give birth at a hospital and would like someone who specializes in holistic care
1. I will be giving birth at NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns 2. I am looking for a birth doula in the range of $1500-$2,000 3. Ideally, I would like a natural birth - avoiding a medically induced labor and/or C-section (unless it's necessary)
Dula in delivery room to help encourage and calm me down and preparing for non medicated birth
We are interested in doula assistance during labor and postpartum doula care as well. We may also be interested in overnight care but aren’t certain yet. I will be giving birth at Weill Cornell Alexandra Cohen hospital in NYC with my husband, Isaac, by my side. My OBGYN in Dr. Lauren Ruggiero. I am planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural and this is my first pregnancy! Estimated budget depends on extent of care we end up going with, but we’ll say $10,000.

I would like assistance with education, emotional support, comfort measures during labor, and advocacy in the hospital setting. I am specifically looking for a provider covered under Carrot Insurance. Ideally, I would also like someone who can gently and tastefully capture a few birth photos and have an experience with Alexandra Cohen Hospital! 👍🏻🤍
Hospital Insurance Fidelis Birth plan Naturally birth
Plan to give birth in hospital, have no spousal support. Would rather have doula in room during birth process .. my parents, I’d like them to come in once the birth is complete and I’m covered, out of the respect of our culture, but I definitely would love support during that time. My budget.. well I’m struggling with medical bills and legal fees and no job so I am looking for free doulas in this difficult time, or would hope my doula takes my insurance for billing - I have anthem blue cross blue shield ppo/epo plan, if that’s something she takes. My birth plan is natural but if it gets overwhelmingly difficult then c section. I am thinking epidural (maybe?) but I really dont want to give birth on my back..main goal- no episiotomy unless absolutely necessary, next main goal- avoid tearing .. heard wet rags help with elasticity, and would advocate no men and minimal resident learning on me as I don’t want to be a guinea pig and have them examine my cervix every few. If you can come to Elmhurst hospital - on Jan 27, I’d love to connect !

My partner and I are feeling a little lost in terms of how to start preparing for our baby. This includes what we should be doing now, how to ensure a smooth pregnancy, and what we should be doing to prepare for birth and afterwards. We plan to give birth at the nearest hospital we can.
Looking for a birthing team. Not sure specific as I am just starting the process.
