Hello! I am looking for a post-partum doula. We are first-time-parents and plan to give birth at either St Marys or Piedmont in Athens. We both have employers with Carrot fertility who provide up to a $15k benefit. Right now we are investigating Doula options up to 6 weeks post-birth. I am planning on giving birth to baby #2 March 31st 2025 at NGPG Braselton. We don’t really have any family who can help with our 15 month old toddler while I’m in the hospital having Baby #2, so I’m looking for someone who can be a support system for both me and my toddler since a huge stress of mine right now is making sure my toddler is well taken care of if my husband can’t be with her. His mom lives in Arkansas and will head here when I’m in labor, and I want him to go home with our toddler to be with her after I have the baby. I also wouldn’t mind a support system for myself before, during, or having I have baby #2 since I was in labor 29 hours last time and pushed for 4 hours. I also struggled with breastfeeding. I don’t have an exact budget in mind since I haven’t hired a doula before, but I am looking for something reasonable and affordable as we will be paying out of pocket.

I am seeking a night nanny to help care for my newborn to maximize my sleep. I am imagining approximately 3 nights per week, 4-6 hour shifts. This is flexible.

Sleep training her and knowing her cues of gas burping and hunger. She’s a newborn and my first baby so some guidance help and support would be very helpful. Help cleaning after the baby and washing sanitizing her bottles and clothes would be very helpful.
