About Avery
Hi families! My name is Avery, and I am a full spectrum doula and newborn care specalist located in Baltimore, MD. I am passionate about providing education and empowering new parents to feel prepared to take on each day with a newborn, and, I love getting to know families and their baby as they grow from a tiny newborn to a babbling infant, and work together to make the newborn days easy and enjoyable. Outside of working with families, I am an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins studying public health in hopes of becoming a neonatologist or OB/GYN in the future.

Single Overnight Newborn Care Services
As many nights as requested by the family, typically 10-12 hours each night but always flexible to meet the family's needs. This is for one baby under the age of 6 months without sleep training services
Twins Overnight Newborn Care Services
As many nights as requested by the family, typically 10-12 hours each night, but always flexible to meet the family's needs. This is for two babies under the age of 6 months without sleep training services
Single Daytime Newborn Care Services
Newborn care services during the day for one baby under the age of 6 months old.
Twin Daytime Newborn Care Services
Newborn care services during the day for twin infants under the age of 6 months old
Car Seat Consult
One-time consult for all things car seats, up to two hours. We can discuss installation, selecting the right fit, and go over common errors for fitting kiddos in the proper seat!
Postpartum Doula- Days
Postpartum doula services, which include but are not limited to: meal preparation, lactation advice, household chores, grocery shopping, and newborn education.
Pre-Baby Prep
Up to 4 hours of preparation for life with a newborn. We can go over a new baby plan (much like a birth plan!), and all the things pre-baby you want to prioritize once baby arrives. This may look like coming up with a meal prep plan, a sleep plan, setting up the nursery, or anything else!
Birth Support
3 prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, 1 postpartum visit
What to expect
To keep it short and sweet, my goal when providing any form of newborn or postpartum care services is to provide assistance to your family and to do what feels good to you. If this is taking night shifts with the baby so parents can get well-deserved sleep, or hanging out with an older sibling while parents bond with the baby, I aim to provide services that are truly helping and allow families to take a step back from the stressful stuff and enjoy time with their baby! These services include but are not limited to: Overnight newborn care, infant sleep training, sleep schedule guidance and education, daytime postpartum doula services, carseat consults!
