About me

Hi families! My name is Avery, and I am a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula located in Baltimore, MD. I am passionate about providing education and empowering new parents to feel prepared to take on each day with a newborn, and, I love getting to know families and their baby as they grow from a tiny newborn to a babbling infant, and work together to make the newborn days easy and enjoyable. Outside of working with families, I am an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins studying public health in hopes of becoming a neonatologist or OB/GYN in the future.

Service introduction

To keep it short and sweet, my goal when providing any form of newborn or postpartum care services is to provide assistance to your family and to do what feels good to you. If this is taking night shifts with the baby so parents can get well-deserved sleep, or hanging out with an older sibling while parents bond with the baby, I aim to provide services that are truly helping and allow families to take a step back from the stressful stuff and enjoy time with their baby! These services include but are not limited to: Overnight newborn care, infant sleep training, sleep schedule guidance and education, daytime postpartum doula services, carseat consults!
