Carolina Pimenta, RN, BSN, IBCLC, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 16 years of experience in maternal-child health and nursing. She is the Founder of Raiz Materna Lactation and provides in-home and virtual lactation consultations for breastfeeding, pumping, and combination-feeding families. Carolina has worked in leading healthcare organizations including Johns Hopkins Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, Sinai Hospital, and Chase Brexton Health Services. She specializes in prenatal education, newborn feeding support, complex lactation challenges, postpartum care, and family-centered feeding plans. Carolina is fluent in English and Portuguese and also provides support in Spanish. Her mission is to empower families through compassionate, evidence-based care and individualized feeding support.
