I took a unique path to becoming an IBCLC. Unlike many others, I started working in lactation before experiencing my own breastfeeding journey. But my fascination with a woman’s incredible ability to grow and sustain life has been with me since childhood. This lifelong passion for women’s health led me to explore various avenues within the field. Then came my “aha” moment: lactation. I realized there was a significant gap in support for postpartum families, and I felt drawn to fill it. Guided by this newfound purpose, I embarked on my journey as a lactation consultant.
