About me

The Latch Link was founded to give mothers access to skilled, personalized lactation care that goes far beyond basic breastfeeding support. After experiencing firsthand how difficult it can be to find high-quality guidance, the practice was created with one goal in mind: to make expert, compassionate lactation care easy to access for every family. Today, The Latch Link is a nationwide virtual lactation practice providing evidence-based breastfeeding and infant-feeding support from highly trained consultants. The team combines clinical expertise with a whole-mother approach, focusing on both feeding and the emotional and physical realities of new motherhood. All visits are conducted via secure telehealth and are typically covered 100% by major insurance plans, allowing families to meet with their consultant from the comfort of home with no added stress. From pregnancy through weaning, The Latch Link supports parents with everything from latch and milk supply to pumping, bottle feeding, oral function concerns, and more. The mission is simple: to give every mother the clarity, confidence, and support she deserves — no judgment, no confusion, just truly skilled care.

I worked with Amber several time when nursing my twins. She was extremely sweet and made me feel like I was talking to a good friend. She was very knowledgeable but also extremely approachable, very different than the hospital IBCLC. She really helped me feel like I was doing well as a mother and her care and support helped me be able to exclusively breastfeeding my twins for the first 10 months of their lives.
