Hi! I’m looking for a doula who can support me during a low-intervention, unmedicated hospital birth. My goal is to labor and deliver without pain medication if possible, while still giving birth in a hospital setting for safety. I’m hoping to work with someone who can act as an advocate and steady support person during labor—someone who can help me stay focused on my birth plan, encourage natural coping techniques, and help communicate my preferences with hospital staff if needed. Some things that are important to me: • Support for unmedicated labor techniques (movement, breathing, positioning, water therapy, etc.) • Help maintaining a calm environment and keeping me grounded during intense moments • Guidance for my partner/support person so they can help effectively • Advocacy for low intervention practices unless medically necessary • Experience supporting hospital births with minimal interventions I’m looking for someone who is comfortable working collaboratively with medical staff while also helping me stay informed and confident in my choices throughout labor.

Looking to do a home birth trying to find someone to help

Delayed cord clamping, the golden hour, etc. Looking for someone to educate and support me through this process, and also advocate for the kind of birth I want. Also support if I decide to have an epidural. I want to breastfeed right after birth and looking for support from someone knowledgeable through that process as well.

I plan to give birth at strong memorial hospital. I have united healthcare, so I’m looking for somone who takes that insurance. Lastly I was told I have a funneling cervix and have a short cervical length left. So I’m in bedrest. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I switched from seeing a midwife to a high risk doctor. I am hoping to find a dula to help me through my labor and time.

It’s in my intentions to have these things available and set up in the delivery room: Essential oils and a diffuser, a small space for an “altar” of Jesus (really just a tiny ritual to feel close to him), a Himalayan salt rock, plenty of water on standby, as well as tranquil music, Italian ice and banana popsicles, and whatever else I can conjure up before the baby arrives. I do not want to be on my back giving birth. I want to be as relaxed as possible, considering my condition as a more naturally at-risk, pregnant woman. I want to be able to push quicker and easier than I may be able to on my back. If possible, I would love a short labor experience, as long as my baby allows me to.

I want a home water birth for my 4th child, but I'm open to delivering in a hospital with proper support. I've never been delivered by any of the OBs I've seen for prenatal care in my previous pregnancies. The most important thing for me is to work with someone who will see me through the entire process of prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.

Hey so i’m 36 years old i have two little boys one is 3 and one is 7 and my daughter 17 i had a hard time giving birth on my third child it was the worst pain ever hurt more then my other two oh now im 2 weeks pregnant and i wanted to have a at home birth and that’s why im look for a Doula who can help me be more relaxed this pregnancy to not hurt me like last time and i was thinking on starting my session the last 2 months so i can get ready for labor i am also looking for someone that can accept payment plans and be there for my labor.

I plan on giving birth at brunswick novant health in Bolivia. My due date is July 14th and this is my first pregnancy which has gone perfectly and is lowrisk. I would love to do an unmediated birth where I just use massages, breathing techniques etc. I would like our doula to have around 15+ years of experience and it always helps if they love Jesus like we do! We would really only need them present during active labor, we don’t require them to stay with us the whole time we’re in the hospital or do extra things for us! I would love someone who is great with communication as well so that they can guide me beforehand hand at things i can do to help prepare my body for an easier birth. We aren’t sure on budget and are open to discuss!

I live in Little River, and I'm giving birth at McLeod Loris Hospital. I was hoping to see If any took Medicaid health insurance. I was also hoping they could help me with my birth plan.

This is my second and I feel if I had someone walking with me who understood the process, even the nutrition and emotional side of post and prenatal life it would be helpful.

Dad and I need that extra layer of support to help speak up for us and we need a birthing coach it’s important for us to be able to deliver vaginally so we need techniques and someone to help us get through it . Both of our mothers are deceased so it’s important for us to have that support . We would like to deliver at the hospital just in case and my insurance will cover services
