I plan to give birth at home with my midwife. I would like to find a birth & postpartum doula covered under Husky health. I’d like someone to help with pain relief and support during birth and then postpartum, some meals, light cleaning & just overall support for me.

This is my niece’s second child and she was not successful with breastfeeding the first. Would like to provide some help. Identified issue of inverted nipples. We would like someone mature with certification and experience.

I had my daughter 5 weeks ago but the evenings have been a little tough since she is colicky. I have an 8 year old that I have a routine with at night and would love an extra set of hands to hold the baby while I help my daughter throughout the night. Would love someone who is patient with fussy babies and has experience with newborns. I just need help a few nights a week about 3 nights from 6pm-9pm. Just soothing the baby while she goes through her witching hour. Looking for someone to sooth her in her nursery, or also help with sibling care if the baby isn’t calming down.

i really wanted a at home birth, but if not i would prefer to give birth at st. charles. I dont want any medication that isnt necessary i want skin to skin if possible for both me and the dad.

I am a 40 year old, pregnant for the first time. Other than my “advanced age” I’m otherwise very healthy. Normal BMI, active, no preconditions. I would like to have a relaxed, minimally medicalized, minimally invasive birth but due to my age, I fear that will be not respected. I am also limited by my insurance to deliver at Yale New Haven Hospital. I would like to have someone who’s an advocate for me, and someone consistent to support me throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. (My current OB doesn’t deliver, which means it’ll happen w whoever is on call). I’m not sure of my budget, as I don’t know what is typical, but I am a postdoc w a fixed income. I will also likely have to take unpaid leave after birth.

Update: looking for an individual who accepts TRICARE, even if it’s not in network. Having baby 3 at Hartford Hospital, due 2/11. Have never had a doula before, but am a little worried my husband might be traveling for the birth! Looking for services to be completely covered by Tricare ideally. Birth plan is hoped to be similar to others - labor as long as I can and then get an epidural. Have not had a C-section and am not planning on it for this baby.

My partner and I are both sick and struggling to take care of our baby. She was sick but has recovered. I don’t know if you do overnight shifts for babies recovering from or who have just recovered from illness, or in homes where people are sick, but in case you do, I’m reaching out to see if you might be able to do an overnight shift tonight, tomorrow night, or both so my partner and I can try to rest and recover.

I am interested in Child Care for my 4-month-old daughter starting March 15th. Monday - Friday (7am - 3pm).
