This is my second child, my first will be 4 by the time baby arrives. Had a very hard postpartum with my first and want this time to be different and hope to avoid severe postpartum mental health by getting the assistance of a doula during birth and a night doula postpartum for a few days a week for the first weeks. I plan to give birth at a hospital. I had an epidural with my first and likely will with this one but would like to try to labor without for a bit so I can be mobile.

Hi, I am looking for a doula who is trauma informed as I have a history of anxiety, depression and PTSD/CPTSD. I plan to give birth at either Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, or Cedar Sinai. My estimated budget for a doula is $1,500–$2,500. My birth plan includes a vaginal delivery if possible, with epidural available, skin-to-skin bonding, and doula support for comfort measures, guiding, positioning and breathing during labor.

Rates & Policies Rates & Deposit: What is your hourly rate, and do you require a deposit to secure the dates? I need postpartum and birth doula in the long beach area.

I plan to give birth at my hospital, Kaiser in Downey. This is my second pregnancy. My first birth was at Kaiser in Downey also (about 3 years ago), where I gave birth unmedicated. The staff knew I had done the Bradley Method course and knew my birth plan and honored it. I plan to give birth the same way, except this time I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes but hope to still have a healthy and unmedicated birth with minimal interventions. I had a doula for my first birth and would really like the hands on support, especially at birth. I would like to keep costs at $2,500 or less if possible and hope that I can have a doula that accepts my insurance. Thank you

We are planning to give birth at Memorial Care in Fountain Valley. The plan is to deliver vaginally. We will deliver with a Midwife unless there are complications. We need a post partum doula to help teach us about infant care, breast feeding, etc. Our budget is $5,000.

I understand that I have 9 covered visits with a Doula as part of my Anthem Blue Cross plan. I am having a scheduled c-section and would like to use this visits after the baby arrives for post partum support in my home.
