It is important for me to have someone with a calming presence who can guide my husband and I through the birthing process. I would like to labor on my own for as long as possible before getting an epidural(if needed) so having someone there to help with this would be beneficial.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. I’m hoping insurance will cover the costs. I’d like my birth to go as natural as possible although I’m not against the epidural if labor gets too intense.
