Hi friend! I'm Bianca, brand new to Texas, originally from Philly. I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Full Spectrum Doula and am currently working toward my Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). My work really sits at the intersection of clinical support, lived experience, and hands-on, activity-based care. I’m also a breastfeeding mom of two little boys under five, so on any given day, I’m also a dinosaur trainer and a fully operational milk factory. Becoming a mother completely changed the way I understand support. There were many moments during pregnancy and postpartum where I realized how powerful it is to have someone in your corner. Someone understanding, calm, and knowledgeable when everything feels new and overwhelming. That experience is a big part of why I stepped into birth work. I wanted to become the kind of support I once needed. (And sometimes still do.)

Hello friend! I'm Bianca - a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Full Spectrum Doula and am currently working toward my Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). My work really sits at the intersection of clinical support, lived experience, and hands-on, activity-based care. I’m also a breastfeeding mom of two little boys under five. So yes, I am currently typing this passage while one is sitting in the fish tank and the other is covered in peanut butter. We pick our battles, you know? Through therapeutic recreation, I've focused on using purposeful, structured activities to support emotional regulation, identity, and overall mental wellness. There’s a real need for more experiential, body-based, and connection-focused approaches. Things like guided bonding activities, sensory regulation, and group-based engagement can really support mothers in ways that go beyond just processing what they’re feeling. A lot of this is personal for me, too. As a mother, I’ve navigated caring for my sons through a worrisome and unfamiliar health condition in the life of my youngest, while still showing up fully in my role with little support and guidance. That experience deepened how I understand resilience, emotional regulation, and the kind of support mothers actually need. Not just in theory, but in real life. That's why I stepped into birthwork. I wanted to become the kind of support I once needed. (And honestly, at times, still do.) Between my work as a doula and the trainings that I’m continuing to pursue, I’m really intentional about building a way of supporting parents that feels both clinically grounded and genuinely human. Sometimes we need someone to help detangle our hair, maybe wash some bottles and other times we just need a grounding presence. I'm here for whatever. It takes a village and I'd love to be a part of yours.
