I plan to give birth in a hospital in my area and am looking for a doula that accepts my insurance which is Excellus BCBS Medicaid.

I want to learn about the birthing process. What i need to do during labor to manage it, what my husband can do during labor. How to push. Exercises i should do for an “easier” labor. Prepare a birth plan. And someone who will be there with me and my husband in the delivery room to help me make the required decisions when i am not in the right mind to “think” and therefore make good decisions for mine and my baby’s health. I will give birth in cayuga medical center (ithaca). Tricare will cover all the costs.
